Finally, Shin plays my fav hero, although as a Tank, not as a Jungler, buttdatisfayn.
And hey, Martis is a perfect hero for Shin, because :
1) Secure OUR keels with his ultimate
2) Flexible role so he can easily adjust in SoloQ
3) He can see that thing when Guin jumps on him and get away with it thanks to his CC immunity skill

Hey Shin, I suggest you upgrade Martis’ 2nd skill instead of 1st at level 1.
It is much better, it deals more damage, gives CC immunity, damage reduction, and not to forget you get 3 stacks of your passive immediately, you can play more aggressively and delay enemy core’s farm the same way as Tigreal does.

I played Martis as a tank and he plays ends up being very tanky. especially once he starts using his second skill. the damage reduction from it makes up for his natural squishiness
What is your Emblem level? And it's Talents?
What is your tank Build for him?
Who are your enemy during that gameplay maybe they're some Counter for him?
Were you fighting an Esmeralda tank during that game? Cuz I also found an enemy tank Martis earlier.
His early game tankiness and damage is what makes him good. You can reset the buffs and even possibly kill the enemy jungler if the enemies don't help.
Its amazing how shin can turn every ml hero into a decent tank.

Hey, shin, my playstyle for Martis tank normally will build for 1 damage item, choose from demon hunter sword or waraxe.
Demon Hunter Sword helped you deal damage to frontline tanky enemy.
Waraxe deals more damage & 10% CDR is good too.
My memories of Asura God Martis is ruined with that smile on his face 😂

your Martis tank still deals a good amount of damage maybe just in this game but .... I really think that Martis was almost forgotten, Shin you really revive the heroes that are ignored

Martis' 2nd skill will automatically reset if you don't activate the 2nd phase of the skill, this only happens once the skill reaches level 3-4, thus you are able to play more aggressively.

I'm a tank user and did try Martis as a roamer. It's really fun. You're tanky enough with 3 proper defensive items and could build War Axe late game to help clearing lanes if your teammates neglect to.

Shin, if you're tanking as Martis, add Bloodlust Axe to your build and change Radiant Armour to Oracle if the enemies doesn't have a mage dealing continuous damage so you can sustain more in team fights
As for the opponents' lineup, they have Guinevere so he need to build Radiant Armor

My bf also sometimes plays Martis as a tank; said that it was indeed fun. He volunteers to tank (his main) especially when we play duo but he also likes playing aggressively so he usually uses fighters as tanks. You can imagine the amount of KS-ing we do to each other 😂

Tips for martin tank,use ur 2nd skill phase 2 to only cancel enemy skill,if not just let it be,so the cd would only be 1-2sec
Petrify is a good spell for Martis too.
First use 1st skill to slow enemy. Then 2nd skill(first phase) then petrify, then basic attack then 2nd skill again then basic attack. If enemy dont die as well then use ulti.
When i play martis i get too agressive and die everytime. He is just fun to go in the middle of team fight 😂

I'm a Martis user and he's awesome and if u know him well he's a great laner and can defend a single tower against 4 enemy at once ( depending on the situation too , if the enemy has a lot of monster cc its gonna be pretty hard )

I'd recommended priority of 2nd skill upgrade than his 1st skill. Easy engage and escape plus you can stack up his passive more quick too.
also shin when you used the first phase of martis second skill and you dont have any targets dont use his second phase since the cooldown would be shorter
