People around me keep asking me what I want to do for living. But when I answer it, they find it too stupid and unrealistic. I don't want to be a lawyer or engineer or doctor... I want to work with giraffes. Yes, that's right. I really really love giraffes. I want to go on safaris and make researchs about them. But some reason everybody around me think that this is impossible. Should I give up and work for something "realistic" or follow my dreams -even though I can fail?
Go for it! Always follow your dreams, it doesn't matter if other people don't share your passion, it's yours! Be happy, do what you love and take care of those amazing animals :)
Hi there :) You should definitely follow your dreams because if you dont do it who will? Don't listen to others and accomplish what you want to. Although, I do have advice for you.... you should study in a field of zoology and learn about other animals and then you can have a back up plan incase it doesn't work out! You can still work with animals and maybe even find a new love for other animals!

She's so inspiring. I wish I could be like her. I'm really shy in high school and no one really likes me. I don't talk to people much and I only have one friend. I want to become an actress but I'm too embarrassed and ashamed to. I don't get stage fright unless there's someone there who I don't like and they ruin it for me ALL the time.
High school, on my opinion, is very stifling to one's creativity and potential because out forces everyone to follow the same learning style and to be stuck in a building with the same people for hours every day. It's okay to only have one friend as long as you cherish him/her. Once you graduate high school you'll finally be introduced to the real world where I feel people are generally a lot more friendly and down-to-earth. As for your acting dream, of it's what you're utterly passionate about, don't give up on it! You are much braver than a lot of people, including me, simply for being able to get on a stage and perform. Don't worry if there's someone there you don't like. They probably don't care, and if they do, well, why should their opinion matter anyway? It's like Dr. Seuss said: "Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind." :) You have your whole life ahead of you to accomplish your dreams, so don't give up now!
You can be an actress as long as you practice being confident, slowly you will learn to overcome shyness and conquer your fears. Go for it and you can do it 😄😄😄😄😄

I actually cried a bit when I watched this. The whole time it made me think about my best friend. I had a really rough childhood. My parents divorced and I got bullied because I was overweight. I didn't know how to take it. I felt so alone. But then I met Louis through a former friend. He was dating her at the time and he broke up with her after she and I stopped being friends. And Louis continued to talk to me. I was really into music at the time, so he would text me while I would be singing or playing an instrument of some sort. When I was really into the movie, Tangled, when he was a senior in high school and I was a junior. I always remembered Flynn saying you can always find a new dream when one came true. I got into college for music this past fall, but I realized that I didn't wanna live off music. I just wanted it as a hobby. Now I don't know what I'm going to do, but I still have Louis by my side after 4 years. It'll be 5 on October 10th. And honestly, all I can say now is that he became my new dream. I just wanna spend as much time as I can with him.

well...my dream is the reason for me to work hard, to keep trying no matter what people say. But it's not easy to follow ours dreams... Sometimes I feel doubt about myself, I'm afraid to think about what I'll have left if I lose, and I wonder should I give up and chose the safe path to go...
This is actually really nice! Not everybody can hear, my father, uncle and two aunts were born with the Usher Syndrome which makes them deaf and not able to speak, so being able to read the inspiring words that Michele said is amazing 😊

This video actually had me in tears. Back in 2011ish I came across your videos and I taught myself how to do my own makeup. I would spend time every night watching your videos after homework and studying. As I continued to follow your journey, I grew more inspired to try more more things. I was like a sponge absorbing everything you taught. Now that I've graduated college and got a big girl accounting job I have finally come to the realization that my passion resides in makeup. I day dream at work about what I want to try next. I have many people who encourage me to follow this through but then I have others who tell me to stick with my day job. It pays more and I'll be financially stable. I couldn't have seen this video at a better time. I was starting to feel like maybe this wasn't going to work. Maybe I should take a step back and let it fade away into the daily clicking of computer keys and numbers. So many numbers. You reminded where I started and how far I've come. And inspired me to keep striving because I never know where a day will take me. It won't be easy but as long as I don't give up, anything is possible. Thank you.

I cried a little watching this video I'm a senior and I still haven't figured what I want to study in college, my country makes you take tests before going to college and they effect your college life and the test is not about what you have studied in previous years no they are questions that scores your ability with math and reading its a hard to explain it...
if get a high percentage like maybe over 85% you'll have the ability to choose well known colleges or difficult majors like computer science etc....
please pray for me I took the test one month ago and I'm hoping for a good score so I can continue chasing my dreams

Whenever a beauty guru attempts to branch out and create more of a variety of videos, they seem to get more hate. Why? Just let them do what they want to do, it's their channel.

So true. All I see is hate comments about how cheesy this is or "Oh I don't like the way make her videos now." Even if it is cheesy, make the best out of it. Some people just need to grow up and realize that people can always change the way they do things and if you dont like it then dont watch it.

It's all well and good saying that, but at the end of the day it is the viewers who keep her in business - a little compromise is needed on both sides, this is why we have the comment section, so she doesn't unwitting lose viewers through lost feedback.
I like a little philosophy, but at the end of the day this is a beauty channel, one which has stopped producing the tutorials I subscribed to, if she wants to take it in a new direction then make a different channel.

This is how you make an inspirational video, I love how there's no hidden advertisements, no subversive messages, just warm good fuzzy feelings and thoughts.
It's a nice video and all but we are not "made by the universe". The universe is a creation, not the Creator. You had said before that you were a Christian. Are you just afraid of offending people so you generalize God as "the universe"? Also we don't write our own story. The pen that writes my story is in the hands of God. Because frankly, we human beings are no good at making our own destiny and being our own god. We fail when we think we're running the show.
I swear, some people can't just let people do their own thing and let there be peace. This video was not intended to be stated like that AT ALL. At this point, you're just making up false statements and putting it in a bad light. Just.......chill out. Why can't you just relax? There's nothing to be offended by unless you're looking for something to be offended by something. You may want to look at her video on how to de-stress.

My dream is.... unrealistic, according to my stepdad. It's far-fetch, or so says my mother. And I fear I'll never reach it. My dream is to become a singer, to inspire people with my music and motivate them to follow their own dreams. But I'm far too shy to sing in public and my own original music seems like complete rubbish. Even though I've never shared my voice with anyone, I keep on thinking I should never consider that option because I'll be told I have a worthless voice, or that I'm not simply good enough. Should I keep dreaming? Or wake up to the cold, hard reality?

I will tell you something, you can do whatever you want, if you just work for it you can be whatever you want to be (unless you want to be a unicorn, if that's even possible) and will give you a tip only having a good voice doesn't make you a singer it's also the creativity and how different you are, there are a lot of people with beautiful voices but they didn't became famous because they weren't special or creative, look at lady gaga she sure has a great voice but her creativity, her style that's what mostly made her well known, I just want to say just keep up and maybe you will become a singer :) :)
Go try out for American Idol or the Voice. Aim for the stars!!
There are many roles for someone interested in music, not just the people we see in music videos or on stage. You may find there's a unique role for your voice. Especially with TH-cam now.
