If I'm a f2p player, should I focus on one hero? I totally don't understand the new hero system, earlier you only needed gold fragments, now you need a few things to upgrade your hero. Why do they make everything difficult?

To unlock the skills the price for a Mid Spender is about 100€. For the rest many people have a lot of maddie frag in advance, so they will be able to upgrade the skills with this and reach 1 skill at lvl 9 "quite easily". A F2P will have much more difficulty but will be able to get the first skill

Me not using Daryl since he was released becaus I'm f2p and could never get the most of him: ok.
Normally as F2P you can unlock him and link him with hero to get joiner bonus
