this why i absolutely love seeing sisters helping each other do each other hair and doing there brothers or mans hair. its a different level of care when someone else is givin the TLC. By ourselves we tend to not do as much over a period of time.

Wow, i just was telling my clients about this. the other day, (Plant growing )Make them parts and pointed nozzle with growth oil in bottle the . massage with your finger pads (tips) get the blood circulation going which in turn promote hair growth; also and spry bottle with leave in conditioner and growth oil. Bring that spray bottle around in your bag especially in summer time. Where you bonnet oe slik pillow case lock in that moisturize and helps to prevent hair breakage.
No lie i oil every night and morning not a lot, lightly - the weekends , just toss that bonnet and underneath with 3 -4 big platts i like to keep it soft and fluffy , not hard and crunchy. and good defusers helps to maximize volume ❤🙏🏾

My hair grows past my tail bone. I'm black fyi. I trim my hair (cm) every full moon. I wash my hair almost everyday (cause i live in the desert and it gets dirty, but not necessary) i only use moisturizing conditioner (pantene botanical). I wash with dawn (1st wash) and any moisturizing shampoo (2nd wash). I only comb my hair in the shower. After i wash and condition, i use more pantene botanical as a leave in. For oil I mostly use Batana oil on my scalp and coconut oil (blue magic) cheap kind on my hair. I exercise a lot, usually 30 min (super slow) on the stair master, stretching, whatever weight machines im in the mood for, and steam room. I also walk up and down my block for the sunshine 🌞. Of course i drink a lot of ice cold alkaline water. I usually only eat cooked food. I noticed that i use a lot of thyme, ginger, garlic, celery, and scalions on everything i throw in the oven. I noticed that my hair is always damp. I never put oil on dry hair. When i trim my har every month (a smidget), I comb it all to the front so i can see. I never use hot irons or blow dryers. I noticed this method works if you do one big chop to cut ✂️ all the unhealthy hair off. I never use edge gel. I swoop my edges with more pantene botanical and thick coconut 🥥 oil. I guess my hair grade would be considered 3c-4a. Everyone says my hair looks like the singer HER. I think my hair is a grade more course. Im all black and HER is biracial. Hope this helps someone.

I don't think people hate shrinkage because they dislike their curls, but rather they want to see length and although shrinkage is healthy it hides length, also if you let hair shrink too much on itself it causes tangles. You guys do excellent with covering many topics. I believe people haven't gotten down moisture retention, and like you mentioned, most moisturizers contain too many oils. Lastly people want to have fun but are looking for growth and see other hairtubers achieving astounding lengths but applying oils crazy, so perhaps there needs to be more emphasis on style moisture and maintenance regimen.

Use coconut oil and wear natural braids if you can.
Could be a number of things. The water you bathe with, the food etc. My friend had to purchase a charcoal filter for his shower head.
There are so many possibilities with that. Air quality food quality different forms of stress I mean it could be many things sis. My suggestion would be just to hone in on your routine and keep up on your notes and I'm sure you'll figure it out; hope you figured it out lol

Get a scalp or shampoo brush and use it twice a day on ur scalp for 5 minutes it causes blood flow for hair follicles
