How many times did I watch this film during recurrent training, I can't remember. But it did cover exactly what needed to be done to evacuate the B-727, Sure, it looks old now, but it proved to be worthy. Along with our cabin team members, we were ready if needed. Flight attendants were the first line of passenger safety and they took the responsibility seriously. TWA was known as the best trained.
after all these years, I still have my EMERGENCY PROCEDURES MANUAL..... I also have my F/A Cabin procedures...Wasnt FAR's fun????? SOOOOOOOOO many moons ago Those were the days!!!! TWAgone but NEVER forgotten!!!
They've kept the same door for simplicity sake. Reduces need for crew training on the type. The overwing exits are different on the 737NG and max compared to the 727
@ I’ve worked on both the 737 and A320. I never liked the 737 as it always felt more claustrophobic and of course those stupid doors which were a pain to close from the inside and quite dangerous if the airstairs had been removed.
“The aft stairs can only be lowered on the ground.” Thank you D.B. Cooper
Why would you want to open the aft stairways in mid flight? To get rid of a problematic passenger maybe LOL.

I believe the other appropriate comment is "D.B Cooper has entered the chat" 😀
I was just thinking about that.

My choice to the USA was always TWA (L-1011) and only one on a B747 back to Europe.
Continental US Flights, only TWA B-727.
How I miss them 😢.

Nice "Up Up and Away/Leading The Way" music.
@ 8:53: What?No porn pictures fell out when the door for the escape rope was opened?
Some of the pilots i know wouldn't fit thru that cockpit window
this is very scare, my cat is sad
Can believe Boeing still use these antiquated doors on the current 737s. Give me an Airbus door any day!
