@@AndreiSorin1994 the problem is the game itself is incredibly empty despite earning more than GI's total monthly revenue for 4-5 months straight and 1.1-1.6 had been lazy with bad and ass stories that lack basic world-building, pacing, abused plot hole and plot convenience, and lack general common sense in human behavior just because all playable were coded to like the mc automatically even if we don't stand out. This update feels like a slap to your face kind of update.
@@Qopa The idea that many playable chars like the MC is not specific to this game. It's a wide custom, present in most Asian games. You need to expect that to happen, when you play these anime games. With the story complaints, I agree, in a way. My gripe is actually with the lore. The lore is much more complex than Genshin's, in my opinion, in terms of how hard it is to understand, due to the presence of so many complex terms and concepts, while going much less in-depth into explaining them than Genshin does to their lore, if that makes sense. For how complex they made it, they explain stuff way to little. Not to mention that a lot of lore is hidden into all modes of Simulated Universe, in Light-Novel format, that make it hard to digest and follow. But you have to keep in mind that we're not even 1 year in. They have a lot of time in the years to come, to give us cool stories, and to flesh out much of what's been set up so far. And hopefully the story in Penacony will go a long way into achieving that. And again, don't focus on the open-world stuff. That's not the focus. The little areas that are there are only for the story, to give environmental context to the plot and lore and that's it. I wouldn't expect to have additional content around it, besides a few chests.
