Never played a game in the series, but the improvements to the graphics and story have gotten me interested. I'll pick it up after I finish Dragon Quest XI S
This was a great review. I'm thinking about buying atelier ryza for the nintendo switch since I really love the atelier games and I played the other atelier games on the ps2. This one looks really great and relaxing too.
This game is SO relaxing it almost put me to sleep whenever I try to play. It's my first Atelier game and I think it's pretty good. I'll know for sure if (and when) I could play for more than an hour straight without fall asleep 👍🏻 PS: I say it in a good way. Music is both relaxing and marvelous.
Based on your review, this may be the best trilogy/series Atelier has had. I've wanted them to have a more serious story since Dusk. In which I thought Dusk was going to do precisely what Ryza is doing. I might have to snag this one up sooner but my budget needs discipline!
@Final Fantasy well I’d say it’s not a total lose if you got them physically. The dusk DX trilogy collection coming out next year most likely will just be digital only. Just remember that this is kinda typical of Koei tecmo. They tend to re-release titles in “complete” or expanded form of its original release titles. Examples like this is the attack on Titan 2 game which ended up getting a “final” edition that includes more content off of the base version.
Never played an Atelier game but after hearing they've made the story a little more serious I'll have to check this out once I finish with Digimon and Ni No Kuni
I'm looking forward to getting my copy of the game. All thought I realy like both RPGs & crafting.. and have been watching the series for years, I have for some reason never played any of the Atelier games before, so I'm looking forward to playing my first one ever :)
This will be my first time playing a game in the atelier series but I'll be honest I'm going to wait for a sale before I buy it just in case I end up not liking it. Itll be an easier pill to swallow if I paid less.
I’ve inquired about it. If I don’t receive a response from the devs within the next couple days I do plan on grabbing it to review so I definitely plan on it.
So many games id actually like if they didn't have this crappy turn based hit system aka final fantasy! Really bugs me, I've tried so many times and I just hate it, what's wrong with encountering an enemy and fighting them instead of this crappy one hit takes you into this stupid trade off I take a go you take a go strategy. Great review as always tho!👍
more people like turn based combat in RPGs than real time combat that's why they keep using this "crappy" turn based system as you say. Personally i like it better because you have time to think and in a grindy game i prefer not having to mash buttons for 3hrs in a row to level up
Because people like me prefer the combat which you called "crappy". If you like hack n slash, there's already Astral Chain or Bayonetta or Devil May Cry or God of War. JRPGs are better with turn based combat

Did you finish it yet? :D
@@Erigalus Yeah and I got Ryza too. Loved both
@@TheCodingGamer nice. Maybe I'll buy Riza soon-ish (when money's not that tight) then, as well. :D
Funny in almost done with Dq11 and thinking to pick this up 😂
I preordered mine but have yet to open it. Can't wait to dive in I love this series. Thanks for the review!

I think I’ll save up a bit to buy all the Atelier games currently on switch from Amazon

Great review. I'm planning to start this game as soon as i finish Outer Worlds.
On sale now!!!

Dusk started strongly with Escha and Logy.
Final Fantasy should’ve waited for the dusk DX trilogy collection coming out next year but oh well.

Japan liking their protagonists thick
Let's be honest, everyone want's to play the game for the waifu's.
What's a waifu?
Never played an Atelier game but after hearing they've made the story a little more serious I'll have to check this out once I finish with Digimon and Ni No Kuni
Did you check it out yet? :D
@@Erigalus yes! I never beat it but I am really enjoying it. That reminds me I should go back and finish it.
Played it for the waifu
Mine comes in tomorrow, looking forward to play this!

waif? Is I like physical, I can always sell it or trade it
Taking notes 📝
Is there a timer in this? Thar is the main reason I barely played the other games. I need to be avle to take my time.
No time limit. Lulua doesn’t have time limit as well. I’m assuming they acknowledged time limit was trash and got rid of it.
@@badmaaash awesome. Thanks.
What is a V2/Red box model?
The revisioned model of the normal switch.
They updated the standard nintendo switch with slightly improved battery life.
You can tell if it's a new model because the box is all red.
I really love the series and you have me sold for another game. 😁
Can you review Truck Simulator USA
I’ve inquired about it. If I don’t receive a response from the devs within the next couple days I do plan on grabbing it to review so I definitely plan on it.
Reviews 2 Go oh ok I appreciate it
Edit: went ahead and bought it. Not a bad game to be honest. Could use a few improvements.
So, no review on thiccness? 😂😅
finally a decent port on switch ?
SilverShion atelier lulua played good on switch. Atelier ryza is basically the same in optimization
Is there english voice acting?
Afraid not. Like with Lulua and Lydie, Japanese VA with English text.
Such a good game
Does the switch version have boob jiggle physics? I heard they are only on PC...
Imagine THAT being the one thing you care about. Weirdo
Reisalin stout is thicc.

@@MrAdrien914 well said big son but it's a personal choice, bores me to death. Hack n slash all the way

JRPGs are better with turn based combat
@@dvornikovalexei I'm right and you're wrong - seriously tho, just not my thing but I loved Persona on my vita.
For JRPGs, turn base action is best as it allows you to think about what you want to do rather than just mash buttons.
unplayable on no nut november
