Great paint job of hull and deck, very convincing, natural wood look achieved close to perfection!

Thank you so much for your lovely comment and for the sub, I hope to be doing the other two ships this year.

Very nice wood grain made here, it really makes the ship escape the plastic look. Also like the idea of the billowing sails. Greetz subbed your channel :) DutchDave.

Thank you so much for the sub and great comment. I wanted a bit more movement in the sail, so I gave here a go with the garden wire.

Your billowing sail effect is really clever! For someone who says he knows nothing about rigging, you did a fine job. I would have used a darker thread but we really don't know what the builders used. It's anyone's guess, I would think. I subscribed because I think your presentation was honest and you put forth some really good ideas. I like the atmospheric music versus the hit-you-over-the-head inappropriate "music" many people just stick in their videos. It does nothing, in my opinion, but detract from the subject at hand. Alright...sorry about all the jabber from the peanut gallery! I look forward to more fine videos. Again, please pardon my wordiness. Best wishes from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia! Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I am not a sailing ship builder but they are nice to build. I like to see sails full of movement as it adds to the build. Best wishes to you and your loved ones from Derbyshire.

Beautiful model! Great job! Was it well mounted? How long have you been assembling it? A long time ago I was building the French ship La Glorieux, I didn't make the sails and rigging. I couldn't do that at all. It was the first and last ship I made. Never finished 🙂

The build has taken 2 weeks, I work full time 10 hour shifts and run a home. do not sweat with the rigging just do a little when you want to. Thanks for your support.

The boat yes, the sails no. Thank you so much for your lovely comment.
