- 云锦是具有7000多年历史，中国丝织技艺经过不断改良与进步，形成的美如天上云彩的锦缎，中国古代只有皇宫的权贵才能使用云锦。云锦的织造颇具特色，用结绳的方式记录色彩和花纹，相当于软件设计；庞大的织机结构复杂，一天最多只能织出几厘米；织造中加入许多贵重材料，比如金银线和孔雀毛，使得云锦华美无比，也珍贵无比。
Yunjin is a precious kind of brocade formed by the continuous improvement of Chinese silk weaving skills. In ancient China, only nobles could use Yunjin. The craft of Yunjin has distinguishing features: Yunjin records colors and patterns in the form of knots, which is equivalent to software design; even with complicated structure, the loom can only weave a few centimeters a day; many valuable materials, such as gold and silver thread and peacock hair, are added to the weaving, making the brocade gorgeous and precious.
