Previously this build was around $300 but I swapped the rx 580 with the RX 6600. Preformed very well and was able to handle 1440P but it’s being held back by the cpu. Whats yo budget? Xeon cpu's are good for builds that are around 100-300. I originally had an rx580 and the build was around $275-$300. I swapped the rx580 for the rx 6600 and now the pc total is $400. But if you have like $400 i would recommend getting a ryzen cpu that way you have an upgradeable path for the future. Or if you can find a good deal on the i3 12100F then even better since you have 13th and 14th gen intel cpu's to upgrade to.

@@Jesus_95 I would say it’s on par with the ps5. In terms of fortntie it performs the same if I were to cap medium setting on 120fps and put high Lumen setting on 60fps cap. Pretty much stable. Now you can always upgrade parts in the future but overall this build is on par with the ps5.
@@gsxfivem Honestly from the optimizations ive done I only really notice like an extra 20fps. The main thing that helps these types of xeons builds is ram. Ive been told that having 4 sticks of rams really help out with xeon cpu's. Also your GPU is better than mines so you should be getting a little bit more fps than what I got. Try these tips tho 1. Update all GPU Drivers 2. Update all Window Updates 3. Have at least 2 sticks of ram (4 is better) 4. Disable Game Bar 5. Have Game Mode Enabled 6. Disable Background apps 7. Overclocking GPU (You can overclock using msi afterburner or you can use the built in Overclocking tool that Radeon provides) (Just make sure its overclock everytime you play a game, it can reset to default sometimes) 8. Set the power plan to High Performance (This will make the CPU run at higher clock speeds) 9. Verify FN files 10. Set Fortnite as a high priority task in the task manager 11. Dont play on DX11 12. Dont wear animated cosmetics 13. If you play on DX12 copy my graphic settings 14. If you play on performance mode Try capping your fps and lower 3D res 15. Stretch Res can make fps stable 16. Make Sure your CPU is cooled. High temps can cause stuttering. If your confused on any of these tips there are many videos going more in detail about these tips. I will try to make an Optimization video showing all these 15 tips and I'm trying out new tweaks rn but I want to make sure everything is working correctly before recommending them to people.
@@SandwichTech_ It could be because of the memory so, I have a 16gb and an 8gb that adds up to 24gb, the problem is that the xeons v3 limit the memory frequency to 2133mhz, I will also test these optimizations, if you could make a video I would appreciate it
6600 is a good card. Just 12% less performance than the RTX 3060 but cost around $100 less. I will be benchmarking the 6600 with other games. If it’s possible I would recommend the Ryzen 5 5500 and the RX 580. That way you can upgrade your cpu to an even better one. Xeon CPU’s are great for $100-$300 builds but don’t have an upgradable path. I benchmarked this cpu with the RX 580 about 2 weeks ago in Fortnite as well.
Yes, the Ryzen 5 5500 will perform better than this cpu and overall you will get more fps than what I did in this video. You will also be able to run the RAM at 3200mhz or 3600mhz speeds which will help with fps. (Turn on XMP/DOCP in your mobo bios/UEFI) Also if you ever wanted to upgrade in the future the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is the best cpu from that lineup of ryzen cpu's.
If you want to improve FPS try these tips: 1. Enable XMP/DOCP in your MOBO Bios this will allow the RAM to run at a faster frequency and can improve FPS. (some mobos don't support XMP) (this tip is very important, check if it's off in your bios) 2. Verify FN Files in the Epic Games launcher before you open Fortnite. 3. set FN as a priority task (high) in the task manager 4. Overclock the GPU using MSI afterburner. Little by little. (Check reddit for recomened clock speeds for the 3060ti) 5. Don't wear to much animated cosmetics. 6. I noticed when using Geforce or Radeon I got less FPS. Even if I wasn't recording I still lost fps. I didn't lose as much fps once I turned off Geforce/radeon recordings and started using OBS. So maybe try disabling Geforce/Radeon recordings and use obs. 7. Disable replays, and turn off visual audio effect (optional) 8. Disable background apps in the window settings 9. Dont play on DX11 its more laggy and stutters a lot. 10. Lower the 3D resolution and see if u like it. It will help with fps, but it will look fuzzy. DX 12 is much smoother than DX11 and performance mode so maybe try low settings with Anti Aliasing TSR Low. Balanced quality. ( You can lower 3D resolution in performance mode to like 80% and see how u like it) If u play on DX12 then DLSS balanced is recommended. 11. Make sure your gpu drivers and window updates are up to date. 12. Setting your pc power to performance will make the CPU run at full clock speeds. (Temperatures will rise, but can help with less stuttering.) I would recommend balanced 13. Don’t have tabs open when gaming 14. Make sure storage isn’t filled up all the way. 15. Make sure your playing on your own region, some people accidentally put another region which makes it super laggy. I did most of these optimizations except for #1 the motherboard in this pc doesn't allow for XMP

@@glugaming5399 oh alright, 4060 would be the better option but which ever is cheaper I would get. Tip: If you do get a 3060 make sure its the 12GB model. Theres 2 version 8GB model and 12GB model. The 12GB is the regular 3060 that is good.
idk if these are exact settings or not but when I was looking at high non lumen settings the difference in fps between this build and the rtx 3060 i5 11400 isnt that far apart considering this one has like a 8 year old cpu
Yea, the 3060 is only 12% better and xeons cpu's aren't really meant for gaming so if I were to test the 6600 with the i5 11400 it will be very close to the 3060 benchmarks. The RX 6600 is $100 less than the 3060 12GB model 👀👀(as of late December basically Jan 2024)
watch miyconst hardware videos and learn how to undervolt and turbo unlock the 2697 v3. He likely has a bios for your exact board with the undervolt and turbo unlock already applied if its a chinese x99. I'd disable 2 cores on the 2697 v3 and you'll have a 12 core @ 3.6ghz basically. Its probably the best gaming x99 xeon but i'd imagine 1660 v4 1650 v4 and 2667 v4 are similar and maybe better in some circumstances and v4 doesn't require any turbo unlocks.@@SandwichTech_

You should try again with TBU it would give you more fps and cpu (after TBU) could handle better with that gpu

Which obs configuration did you use?, my stup is a 2666 v3 rx 6600xt
For the rate control I used cbr and the bitrate is 60000 Kbps, anything higher will start to eat up FPS.

Try to unlock your Xeon it works with any mobo. My X99H V1.2 worked just fine no problems all, from 4300 points to 5150 at CPUZ
