Great efficiency. Try adding marker lines on two sides of the yellow trays to make it easier to know what way to place them.

Use a cotton handkerchief while drinking water from the flowing stream. The technique is simply as follows; The two ends of the handkerchiefs are fixed to small stones in the stream water. The other two ends are held over the creek water with an angle of 45 degrees. The water drinking technique that is cleaned from the top of the handkerchief .

    Hi Richard, nice vid.
It looks like you get about 530 sellable eggs per day from 700 hens, right?
I would expect 630-650 class A from 700 first-year hybrid layers, especially in the summer months.
Do your hens lay fewer eggs because of breed or age? Or does your pre-sort in the field leave 100+ eggs for the hens? Or maybe something I haven't thought of? Look forward to your elucidation. Thank you

First of all, thanks so much for sharing all this. It's helping me out a lot in preparing my project.
A technical question though : I'm surprised your very low cost facility has been approved as packing center. Even if you feel the egg right, EU regulation seems way more demanding than what you have. It says you must have "devices for measuring the height of the air space, equipment for grading eggs by weight, approved balances for weighing eggs" (COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 589/2008). Indeed, I've been told that if you want to sell to professionals, you need a packing center that will cost you several thousands euros in equipment. Are you not under EU regulation ?
Thanks in advance for the answers

I was wondering if there is a waste stream enterprise in fly collection? I have the same problem, even though it's a backyard setup, the flies are everywhere.
