My cliff notes version: Lydie - Optimal in most teams, almost trivializes SSing every score battle. Ryza - Optimal if you use Slash Val, first slash AoE breaker, decent AoE breaker everywhere, doesn't necessarily obsolete Shal/Marie if you don't pull her though. Izana - Optimal if you use bolt Resna, best AoE attacker in the game, some what slow to set up with out crit items or bolt resna but pay off is worth it. Great video as always Angela, really appreciate your break downs, thoughts, and insights!
This needs to be said. Most content creators fail to specify that "JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE THIS CHARACTER" doesn't mean your team meets end game, THEY DON'T SAY IT. In games like these, TEAM COMP is what matters and being F2P really sucks in this game especially due to hard acquisition rate of the currency. Just because you have Lydie, or M.Ryza or Izana does not mean that your team meets end game, if you don't actually have the supporting characters for them. It's as simple as that.
Because it's unnecessary to say. While these chars are good, they are by no means mandatory to do any content (outside of affinity tower, which is optional challenge content balanced around having a mostly complete roster). Any one of these characters helps a ton though lol, no matter what the rest of your box looks like - they're that strong. You don't need the perfect meta team to succeed in resleri

That’s a great tip about going heavier on Ryza banner and sparking Lydie I’ll do only tickets on Lydie then wait till the day those 2 banners overlap to gem pull for Ryza first if necessary I also really want Lila! So many good characters!
Saving all for Izana regardless, played at launch and wanted her, quit shortly after due to life and just came back. Rerolled for Resna and Wilbell so the three of them will be lots of fun together with all the stacking buffs.
Hey angela nicee video as always as a f2p really helpfull thanks :). could you make a video on what gear is the "BIS" for what char or check points on gear to make. A guide like this would probally take a lot of time, but would be really heplfull for what kind of gear is good
What I learned is that the elements are only for variety in team building, because visually none of the 3 represents the one they carry, Izana had to be Strike, or maybe Wind if we consider the green glow that the hammer makes.

After watching this video I've just bought 10 F2P tickets on the shop for the newest banner and got Lydie, Odelia, Ryza and SSR Memoria A Time Just for Two. Only Ryza was a dupe. Didnt even know Odelia was in the game and I'm playing since day 1 xD. Anyways it was such a disgusting pull that I had to share it just to let ppl know that at least is possible to be that lucky.
So Izana synergizes well with both lydie and bolt resna, would it be viable to run them both like 2 supporters on one team? Then a breaker and last slot being second breaker/attacker flex 🧐🧐

I've run into a bit of a dilemma with this trio because currently, my main DPS is actually a Ryza. However, I *am* pulling for Master Ryza cause she's my goat, so i have a bit of a vacuum to fill there. My original idea was to sink as many gems as possible into Ryza's banner, hope I get her naturally, then spark Slash Valeria to sub in as my main DPS, but now I'm conflicted and wondering if I instead want to *just* spark Lydie to support vanilla Ryza, go my original plan, or ignore Lydie in favor of Ryza/Izana to fill that DPS slot in. Aaaaagh, decisions decisions

so in nutshell 1) Lydie is support who can heal and buff all allies with skill dmg up and Extra buff if u have Electro chara in party additional 30% buff skill dmg from her passive. 2) Ryza is Breaker debuffer able to debuff slash attributes before dmg and able to force break from ult. 3) Izana is Crit dmg Dps from my own take, i see her kit..she work great with Resna electro and Obviously Lydie and able to spam Crit dmg.

Dps come often and but Character like Ryza who Force ur Enemies To Break with her ult Is rare u definitely want her + She work well to pair up with Slash attributes since she littery Contributed to make her slash allies deal dmg thanks to her slash resistance reduced before dmg..just my own opinion ok

Just pull on the characters you want, don't follow the meta, especially with the current version of this game for global where there is no battle pass, special packs. If you are F2p, you'd really have a hard time following the meta.
Before people burning all gem for Lydie, please be remind that the good attacker and breaker carry you for hardest content like E.tower . Supporters make it easier but unless you already have atk and breaker. They are useless.
At least enough can usable until the end, even if you have comp. like FResna, Shalie, and Rorona (free), like me. I just wait Izana comes and skipped the Ryza

I got Wilbell on my last pull (bought lodestars lol) and at first there were no winks so I was worried but then the orbs came in from nowhere and I saw her, i was pumped ngl--i'm just thankful it wasn't Nio. Still no Ayesha yet, though, but soon enough she'll be mine muahahaha.

I loved Lydie in lydie and suelle so I am hyped to see her in this game.

If I recall correctly it's 150 pulls (excluding tickets and the daily free pull) to spark a character in the shop.

no, they are both skill damage, alchemy candy is just specifically magic skill damage
