Nicely done Paul💈💈 Turned out well this shave, no issues and smooth finish...the way it should be eh. Wonderful floral arrangement this morning thanks to Mrs H, much appreciated. Nice shave 🪒 i tend to use gillete 7 o'clock blades and wilkinson sword blades...astras greens are ok too nice and smooth. Perma sharp half blades for straights.

A colorful Wednesday shave...thanks to Mrs. H. Many of those inexpensive DE razors are decent shavers. But I would not recommend them to a new wet shaver. If they happened to get one that was of poor quality a nd was uncomfortable to use or caused a nick, that experience could turn them against DE shaving. Start out with a modestly-priced DE safety razor like the Merkur 34C or Edwin Jagger DE89 or Rockwell 6C (my recommendation). BTW Paul, have you tried using the balm first and then the splash or cologne? I find their fragrances last longer if I do the balm first. Maybe it's another YMMV thing? Have a great rest of the week.

Paul , good morning Sir. You are 100% right about blades ! I know alot of people use Derby blades and love them. I couldn't get a decent shave out of them so I tossed them .I tried the ones in the green pack and the premium ones .they just don't work for me. Have a great day and beautiful flowers Mrs H !!
