    Thanks for the video. I just did my rear and front today, but I noticed (mines a 03' L) that the front forks do not have that design 'bolt' that holds the spring in. It had a 14mm hex allen key 'hole'. Not a standard socket, found this out and had a fun time finding a 14mm allen key (just got 1/2" drive socket)

      I just bought a 01 125L and the forks have no travel at all, the bike just sits with the forks maxed out. So do I just need new springs?

      Sounds like the existing springs are missing or broken. Open them up and see what’s in there.

    I was watching a similar video on a KLX140 and the guy there said to loosen the top clamp because it was in all likelihood it would be squeezing the tube to the cap, making the cap much harder to unscrew and potentially damaging threads. True? Don't know.

    Hey.. Good video.. I just bought an 08 TTR LE.. for the farm etc. Have a Honda Rally for all other endeavors. Motorcycle camping Dual Sport etc. Had Many Harleys and BMW's KLR's etc. Now older, and going lighter in my bikes.. Just got this one and will be putting around on it.. Good shape.. Might have to do the springs etc. we will see. as I am about 200 lbs..lol It still has the Steel handlebars on it and I want to get aluminum and higher ones because I will be standing most of the time on trails.. Any recommendations?? thx..

    How much oil do you put with the new springs? I have the same bike and I’m installing the BBR kit but it doesn’t state how much fork oil to it just says 130mm from the top of the tube compressed. Wonder if that changes if you go with 15w?

      Been a long time. I think I dumped out the old oil and put the same amount back in. Sorry! Wish I could remember

    Really! All that and you dont let us see the finished product. Some of us are curious about the height increase.

    • @TheRealWorld737
      @TheRealWorld737  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      ahh.. sorry Mark. I didn't see a height increase when there was no rider. As far as sag with rider - it helped approximately an inch in the rear and maybe 1.5" in the front (all depending on rider weight). Mostly, it was valuable for when the kids were jumping. Reduced the bottoming. Definitely a worthwhile job. Thanks for commenting.

    Are the springs for a ttr125L? Or the smaller ttr125

    • @TheRealWorld737
      @TheRealWorld737  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This bike is a 125LE - but you should verify, if ordering springs that they are for your model.
