The gas cap being stuck has to be the stupidest thing I've seen on a modern bike. I cant believe its common enough where there is youtube videos on it. I expected better from the Germans. Great video!
Looks like your suspension was set to "road". The "dynamic" is so much better as the bike does not bounce as much. There is nothing wrong with the gas cap. Once you shut off the bike, there is a timer that starts before you open the gas tank. If you pass that time frame (don't know how many seconds) it won't open. So, restart the bike, shut it off and re-open the gas tank. That's it. It is a safety issue as you may know how anal the German Engineers are. I had nothing but BMW Bikes in the last 10 years and never had an issue.

@@jesam75 Looking at the manual, the only thing I did not do was use the centre stand. It worked today though, so perhaps I am missing something.
