Thanks for another great reaction guys! 😉 The intro is in 3, the part in 5 is the opening verses through the middle acoustic interlude. And I definitely saw the confused headbanging when you both realized that's what it was 🙃. The second half of the song is in 6 which feels oh so satisfying when it first lands, when the tension from all that asymmetry is suddenly relieved. Moonsorrow does that same move in other songs too. BTW the best way to beat or headbang in 5 is to pay attention to where the downbeats, the "big" beats, are. In this song the measures are broken into subsets of 3 and 2. So you'd feel ONE-two-three ONE-two ONE-two-three ONE-two, with claps, toe taps, or headbangs on the ONEs. KI-ven-kan-TA-ja. 😎🤘
Wow! I´ve seen few channels that react this frequency to Moonsorrow. Is there´s a place in your schedule for Sankarihauta? I´d love to see you reacting to this song.
After six months, I don't think, you will read this but I have been in a situation, where one loses their child. I bear a heavy stone on my heart. This song resonates to me... I really bear a stone on my heart.
The guy who writes their stuff is no longer part of their band so to speak, he just makes the music while teaching music in school to kids and making music for movies and games. It's a weird band in that way, he stopped live playing years ago and AFAIK he occasionally takes part in few finnish shows here and there but he's not really part of the band anymore, just writing the music. Seen him with his other acts few times live though, mainly Finntroll which i'm going to see again in few weeks, wondering if he'll be at that show. 🤔

@@BlaecHrim I actually read every comment. I don't always like or comment everything now. I am sorry for the sad news :(
