Seeding the millet and playing in mud

Back at the end of June, we finally got the millet seeded and harrowed. Then we tried rolling the field of millet and alfalfa to push down the rocks. The field was still quite wet and it didn't work out great. We also update you on the Outstanding Young Farmer nomination.

Where does the millet fit into the diet

Mainly for the young stock and the beef herd but depending on what the feed test shows it can work for the milk cows
