Ooh at my house we love “Where is green sheep” That’s one of the books that I used to read to my kids to learn Spanish
That's awesome :)
I absolutely love this paterrn! This texture is so good for so many other possible creatures and creations. Thank you for clarifying and showing us!
LOL I am so American I have literally never heard of the book "where is green sheep" until this video.
Having a dedicated video to make more sense of the sheep thing especially with the complicated texture is very helpful. That way I can reference back specifically to this when I'm ready to attempt it.❤
I'm not into crochet myself, but my coworker does a lot of it, and I can see how much she enjoys it. Recently, she gave me a tiny mouse she made, and we ended up talking more about it. I really appreciate her art and passion. This got me curious, and I found your video. You're doing a great job! I've watched a couple of your videos and enjoyed them a lot. Thanks from Victoria, Canada.
i didnt need a sheep pattern but i absolutely DO need a green sheep! Currently reading this book on repeat to my 2 year old and now im inspired, thank you! 🥹🤩
Got some yarn at a farm in black and white and this was the perfect project! It looks, feels, and even smells like a real sheep 🐑😁
Oh yes, thank you for the dedicated video! I am def adding this sheep to my to-make list :) It's so cute!
I'm happy you like her! :)
I completely love you and all your beautiful yarnings (what the kids say when I am crocheting). I lifetime goal is to make one of your patterns and for it to kinda look like your.
I’m going to need another 40-80 years. Maybe.
my aunt loves sheep, might make one for her
I love how adorable this sheep is i honestly love your entire channel, but i must admit this was a challenging pattern for me.
I reworked it a little, i still use the sc, treble st alternating, but my rows go: 6st magic circle,
9st [ 3(st,inc) ],
15st [ 3(st,2inc) ],
20st [ 5(1inc,2sts) ],
30st [ 5sts, 10incs, 5sts ]
30sts (rows 6-12), then decreasing 20,15,9,6 same way as the beginning rows just with decreases where the increases were
This made a more noticable top and bottom instead off the full fluffy body, but i found it a little easier for me brain to follow
Love the green sheep, and love the Martin name idea.
Hi! I am sooo love your patterns, i wanna crochet them all!! And i'll be very happy if you will make a raccon pattern!
Thank you! Love the pattern! I can't wait to make it.😊
Thank you so much! I gonna make she tomorrow, she’s soo adorable ❤
I'm happy that you like her! :)
I'm so excited to make this sheep!!! :)
Literally just re-watched that pattern hacking video a couple hours ago..
Thought I was going mad seeing him again 🤣
I proceed to film and release the same pattern every week for the next month...
Absolutely fabulous B roll
Maybe if rounds 6-12 had 29 or 31 stitches, it would be easier to alternate.
That's true! But it was in the spirit of the design exercise to not change the shape. for yourself you could easily just chuck a dec at the end of R5, and then an increase at the end of R12 and it would accomplish that for you :)
Baa❤tastastic ❤ awesome thank you 👍🏾 🐑🐏🐑
So cute 😭❤️
This pattern is such a brain teaser. Also can we call mr green sheepy marvin? :3
Marvin the sheepish Marsian.
28:39 How much stuffing in the head? About the amount that a pigeon would use to wipe up coffee! Oh my stars, perfection. This is my new favourite unit of measurement. xD
Hi, I’m a bit late but can I request a pattern? I would LOVE a parasaurolophus pattern. I am a dinosaur nerd and they are my absolute favorite lol.
Being totally new I get lost in understanding the written instructions and what to put in each stitch. If the camera is closer and I can watch what is going into each stitch I can learn that way, but still overwhelmed by the written tables of stitches. Like looking at that and seeing 6sc I'd think that means 6 single crochets and I'd think that would mean to do 6 in a row rather than a treble one coming in between. In watching I do get the general sense of it, though I do start getting lost in which stitch some get worked into. Beginner problems I guess! I just wonder when the written stuff will start to make sense.
Hello! What yarn brand is your recommendation? I'm having a hard time finding the right one for me!
Definitely not beginner friendly. 😭 I love your videos so much but was so sad I couldn’t follow along. It also didn’t help that idk how to read a pattern. 😅
It doesn't help that she has a particular way of doing it and you need to watch her video on how to read a pattern to really understand what she means. She has a lot of other beginner friendly videos
Does anyone have any ideas to crochet a Garfield 😭
