These videos, you should just refer to. Not use it as is to make decisions. At the start he mentioned that the base variant came to be 1lac cheaper than expected. So, that way we can see that the top variants are actually reasonable at VFM. Again, there are competitors to look at, Hyundai Kia Tata have delivered success but would definitely be costlier as compared to Citroen. (but Citroen takes a hit in terms of presence in India)
Astor Base variant has all must have features available at just 9.99 lakhs with 5 star safety with premium interior, I urge everyone to take test drive of it. Cons: Since heavy car and NA engine, it may be slightly underpowered in highway. Mileage might be lesser. I see that most of Citroen viewers look for VFM and Astor base variant just does that. Even if you consider Citroen family, the bigger C3 Aircross is cheaper and has option of 7 seats. I guess its also offered with discounts. Barring the VFM base variant and top variant which get some extra features over AIrcross, for all others Aircross is a better car for money spent

Citroen should have done pricing correctly. Just 3 varients, they should look at TaTa and understand that customer are looking for value. Make 6-7 variants and give customer choice to decide what to buy. It’s like pushing everyone to buy Top variant for must have features.

their VFM data is based on price of base variant which is introductory and priced way too aggressively. Top Max AT is VFM compared to the engine and comfort offered by cars in the segment. Only cruise control is missing
Bro, top model AT is good car with all basic features, but the problem is the price definitely go down a lot within 1 year , you may get 1-2 lakh discount on year end, so better to buy at that time
Hi sir, 7.99 is an introductory price. In case they change or rather increase this, then the VFM% will vary. you will also revise the your recommendation?? Nice video explaination!

@@niranjanskulkarni cng pe bhi efficiency kam hi milegi. e.g. dzire cng has about 20% advantage in fuel costs over tigor cng in ARAI numbers. real-world, we know that maruti numbers don't deviate all that much from arai. so the difference over tigor will be much bigger. moreover, tata know how to make somewhat efficient engines. citroen ka most likely city traffic mein single digit mileage hai. cng won't help much. in fact, the cabbies will end up wasting time at the filling station because of less range. Time, which they should have been spending driving and making money. cng range and low efficiency (compared to segment benchmark) make this a poor choice for a cab. hotels can use it for highway use but they don't use it as means to make money. it's just a convenience thing for their guests.
I was hoping you will talk abt the drive impression and suspension quality and fuel efficiency .... which is really good among many other SUV in India and those features r deciding factors for many buyers....!!!
Jaldi hi yeh car top 10 least selling cars mai aa jayegi because of price... Citroen should learn from Nisaan on how to set price to attract Indian buyers.
agar aap aur kisi car ka base model 8-10 saal own kar chuke ho bina features ya new car ki khujli paida hue, toh phir le sakte ho. nahi toh kuch saal mein features ki kami feel hone lag jayegi. main personally, le sakta hu because i don't even want music system in car. just some very basic features like day/night mirror, height-adjustable driver seat, remote central locking, tpms, rear parcel tray, internally adjustable outside mirrors ... and ... i'm set. most of these things you can get installed after purchase also.
The top model should be down by 1 lakh, the price is justified if there are ventilated seats and sunroof. Although the sunroof is not for a practical people like me but top model should have these two features to fight in the indian market with no price change. Also i didn't like the jump from 8 lakh to 10 lakh from base to next variant. This is a very practicle car and believe me indians will buy it anyday if the top model comes with a sunroof and ventilated seats. Curvv ka band baj jata but as always they don't understand indian market. For me I am okay with No sunroof + old school handel + less ground clearence + no ventilated seats. Still ab ban gyi hai car to 1 lakh sasti kar dena chaiye top model me and ek extra varient with sunroof + ventilated seats + 200 mm ground clearence ke sath launch karna chaiye. With the same price of top model.
Hello V3 cars. Can you please make a video on car strengths across various metrics (like boot space, reliability, safety, family oriented etc.) and calculate an ideal use case scenario among various price bands? For example family car (meaning ride comfort)with ample boot space under 15L. Or daily commuter car for city traffic and office under 10L and such. And also rate various top selling models according to such a metric. Thank you.

yeh usmein lagana easy hoga jiske top model mein aata ho. jaise, nios ya swift ke base mein lag jayega kyuki uss car ke upar ke variant mein aat hai.
lekin ismein mushkil hisab hai.

sabse impotant question = plus turbo manual mein sharkfin antena ata hai kya ?????
Nai aata, aage laga hai windscreen ke upar.
Is Citroen gonna stick in Indian market with solid future plans or will flee like in Australia.
pata nahi. kuch saal toh hai yeh yaha par.
It’s good for cab business.
cab ko mileage, reliability aur low maintenance chahiye. these are not the strengths of this car.
@@maheshy1 that’s why CNG
Why no video timeline ? We are Not happy with your latest videos
Jaldi hi yeh car top 10 least selling cars mai aa jayegi because of price... Citroen should learn from Nisaan on how to set price to attract Indian buyers.
Base model ko 15 saal ke liye lena sahi rahega kya...?
agar aap aur kisi car ka base model 8-10 saal own kar chuke ho bina features ya new car ki khujli paida hue, toh phir le sakte ho.
nahi toh kuch saal mein features ki kami feel hone lag jayegi.
main personally, le sakta hu because i don't even want music system in car. just some very basic features like day/night mirror, height-adjustable driver seat, remote central locking, tpms, rear parcel tray, internally adjustable outside mirrors ... and ... i'm set. most of these things you can get installed after purchase also.
What about safety of this car? Citroen c3 scored zero stars in NCAP, right?

Basalt ka 1.2 NA engine 4 cylinder hai sir...
kab se?
One who likes the category should go for Base variant Or wait for Tata Curvv launch.
right
May be better than Curvv, as you always have to go to service center with tata cars its a good buy of basalt
Jagdev bhai needed

Hello V3 cars. Can you please make a video on car strengths across various metrics (like boot space, reliability, safety, family oriented etc.) and calculate an ideal use case scenario among various price bands? For example family car (meaning ride comfort)with ample boot space under 15L. Or daily commuter car for city traffic and office under 10L and such. And also rate various top selling models according to such a metric.
Thank you.
that's a very difficult task. even our feature related recommendations, which has proven mass acceptance continues to receive backlash from some viewers. what you're asking is very subjective. we'll need a lot of time to think over these problems before we can formulate and tweak the algos, which give consistently good results that are applicable for most buyers.
@@maheshy1 Thank you sir for considering.

At least cruise control should be on the top variant.
Wait for Nov/Dec discounts.. inventory will pile up soon..too many cars in market
Yup. It looks like that will happen.
Top model AT will be a good purchase when they start offering a 2 lakh discount after 1 year.
2 tak pata nahi discount ayega kya. lekin 50k tak ka year end mein aa jayega lag raha hai.
Really good engine that turbo petrol one. But most probably will have to wait another year or so for the Citron fellows figure out the features and prices. Too expensive atm.
Yup. base looks good on price list but missing many important features. mid non turbo also misses many features exclusive for mid turbo.
I think only base model is ok to buy but in this price no rear power window , no remote lock not sure citroen is thinking.
Look at the size of the car. Cars above 4m are taxed higher.
@@abhishekanand5070 bro I didn’t mention any gimmicky feature .in 2024 if a car launched with these issues , I am not sure what to do?
It is among the lowest height , length As well. This escaping route of these brands stating higher tax is lame logic now a days .
thinking that they will announce the base price and get a lot of bookings, then quietly slip the full price list while the media are busy with roxx, curvv drive and review, so that people don't know that the hype and price of variant worth buying are very different.
Cruise control/ Telescopic Steering/ keyless entry to hona chahiye tha yaar
You guys still haven't figured out audio quality😅
You variant mai turbo bhi hona chahiye jo mehengi afford ni kar skte😢. Ek lakh badhake turbo dedo yr
plus mein 85k ke features ke liye 2 lakh maang rahe hain yeh. 1 lakh mein turbo nahi denge. 7.99 is just to get you thinkin about this car. dealership par woh mid turbo ya top variant hi bechne ke liye pressure karenge. ya phir relatively overpriced mid non-turbo
@@maheshy1 exactly sir.U said it right. Inko base mai turbo dena chahiye paise badhake.Accesories to baad mai bhi lag skti hai. Harr koi turbo ke liye mid variant nhi le skta

I still don't find the base variant value for money. Why?, coz the only cost increasing factor is that this car is not a sub 4M car, so the taxes are more. And cost decreasing factors are 1.2 L, 3 cylinder engine, fixed headrest, rear power windows, no central locking. Brezza LXI, ciaz Sigma new Dzire are not far off. A corrective price of Rs. 7.25 would be great.
bhaiya, dzire se around 15% extra tax de rahi hai yeh gaadi. creta size ka maal hai swift ke daam mein. thode accessory laga lo toh tashan pura milega saste mein.
@@maheshy1 sirji brezza LXI bhi small car catagory mein nahi aati. 8.40 mein bhi . 1.5L 4 cylinder engine, all 4 power windows, electrically adjustable rear view mirror de rahe hai. Koi bhi car perfect nahi hoti. Uske bhi rear headrest nahi hai. Bohot hairani wali baat hai. Ab kya hi kehna Citroen ke baare mein. Australia se exit ho chuki hai. Sir mere pass 2 Chevrolet aur 1 Ford hai. Exit hone ke bad effects aur takleef bohot hoti hai.

rear parcel tray - 2-3k
fog lamps - 1-3k

rear seat backrest with rear armrest
adjustable wing headrests from top variant
Lena hi hai tho thoda wait Karo, discount ajayega😅
The varients distribution is outright foolish. Top varient is the only car that's considerable. But around 12.5 lakhs ex- showroom you get better alternatives.
exactly, the base price skews everything. it sets expectations but the top model final pricing doesn't meet those expectations.
Companies think they can dump anything in india and it will sell 😂
Citroen be like: Abhi 1.5 lakh jada loot lete hai fir 6 mahine baad discount bhi yo dena hai😂😂
hehe.
Its really foolish to compare all prices with base variant price, every one knows its just for adds.
Bhai sab kuch theek lga but sirf 1k hi cheej dekh k Sahi nai lga wo ye k bhai itne pese hmate kam se kam screen guard hi dalwalo Fon me😂😂
3 cylinder engine at that price makes no sense. It will never have the smoothness of a 4-cylinder.
To compensate they have added turbo to it, which is more prone to failures than a 4-cylinder NA engine given by Honda and Hyundai.
Not even 360 ° camera is there in the top version.
maruti also going towards 3 cyl. swift now gets 3cyl 1.2 instead of 1.2 4cyl. gradually, this will replace all 1.2 4cyl in marti's portfolio
@@maheshy1 Hyundai has 4 cylinder. That's why it's the best option

Has this channel become Hindi language only? Then please change the heading as well.
a lot of people speak hindi but keep the phone language as english.
blame it on the government of the late 80s and early 90s for bringing qwerty keyboard to india instead of a devnagri keyboard.
@@maheshy1 ideally you should change channel name to ghadi instead of cars. If you are catering to pan India audience then do the video in two languages. It is misleading to have English heading and Hindi content. Be consistent.

hain?!?!
@@maheshy1 yes if top features are given in turbo variant but not in na variant then many wont move towards it as there are many who prefer na over turbo engine
@@psen.9659 oh! yes. right
mid non turbo should have had same features as mid turbo. reserving features for turbo, which have no relevance to engine or performance is just plain stupid.
it's okay to reserve some features like drive modes, rear discs and such for turbo. but keeping front armrest, rear ac vents, rear defogger for turbo is beyond justification.
it makes the car irrelevant for many
Proper clown pricing. Shot themselves in the foot.
