@@blahblah1939 Well, Lindsay and Witney never quit, they have just been taking time off for their families, and have never expressed thoughts of quitting the show. If they think the time is good, and express that they want to come back, and if the casting director wants to cast them, because they fit the height and personality type for a specific celebrity, they sure will come back then, but they're both newly moms of little ones, so I think it'll be another couple seasons for them to return, especially Lindsay, because they both want to watch their kids grow up. I know Daniella & Pasha and Jenna & Val and Peta & Maks have all had kids recently, and Jenna, Peta and Daniella all keep returning, but they tend to have it planned out to work, cause they all have dancer husbands (Pasha, Maks and Val). On the other hand, Lindsay and Witney have husbands who work full time, so then they'd be watching their kids and competing all by themselves, while the Pashkov's, and Chmerkovskiy's have it easier. Plus with Peta and Maks, they've been doing it for some time, so they have it figured out. I know Maks doesn't compete on DWTS anymore, but he still does reality television in some way, but like I said, they have a plan in place, but the same plan may not work for Lindsay and Witney with their husbands. But yeah, so they never quit, just are in a time in their lives that are inconvenient to compete, but they are very happy with the lives they currently live right now.
My favorites will always be the ones I have actually met and spent some time with. Kym Johnson-Herjevac is my all-time favorite, as I was on several cruises with her, dancing with her a couple of times in the club. Tristan and Tony are both great guys and my favorites among the men, but they needed better partners. As far as actual dancers, Karina is probably the best, but didn't often have partners that could keep up with her ability.
Respect for Chelsie!!! So glad to see her in your top 10. She wasn't on for long (I think she had anxiety issues and being on national TV wasn't helping) but she was my favorite convert from So You Think You Can Dance (and I think she should've won her season on that show too). I always felt bad for Edyta, she got some of the worst partners. I met her and Alec in one of the early tours (like season 3 or 4). They came out and signed some programs for people.

Dmitry should higher in my opinion I loved his choreo it was very creative

Derek Hough is THE best dancer ever to grace this stage! Daniella is, hands down, the best female dancer on the show. These rankings suck!

i just don’t like his choreography and i feel like he hasn’t done the best with the partners he has been given.
He’s a relatively newer pro, he shouldn’t be any higher than he is, his choreo is fine
