The theme of the main island as well as the opening sound is so majestic and peaceful. These could be teasing the theme of the th 👀

They should make a huge update where they increase the size of land or tiles when it goes to TH16. I mean if they do that they can add more buildings, defences, storages and a new hero perhaps.

There was speculation back in October that the month's scenery would be an Atlantis scenery, maybe they plan on releasing that scenery with Town Hall 16? I'd be surprised if they don't do a holiday themed scenery for December though.

Judo it would be awesome if they made pet outposts like the troops outposts in builder base, so we could use them on defense and give pets more uses

The fact that we have an event related to the builders (such as we often have a big 50% off on everything just before a town hall update) quite already indicates the possibility of it coming soon

I think that the trees in the end of the teaser might be something related to what you and Darian talked about with the village needing more space because of all the buildings
I don't know if you have noticed but the 2 massive holes in the base could indicate that there is 2 main defences to come with the th16 update and they are big spaces so big building/defences

Maybe the theme of TH16 will be elements/elementals like fire (being the Giga Inferno inside the Town Hall if they didn't change the weapon), water (being the mysterious fox appearing on the trees), earth and air (being the trees) 🧐🤔

If you look at the new loading page you could see that the hands on the clock point to the numbers 1 and 6 which basically means it's TH16 update❤
Maybe someone has said this before but IMO the goblin builder was the the first hint about th16 or some other kind of big update.
Because when it will be finished (10th of December) we will have 2 weeks before 25th of December. So they have plenty of time for sneek peeks as well. Otherwise the would've simply put the simple "speed boost" (I don't remember the specific name) at building time and stop
The teaser has 132xp which means it can come 132 days later (1st april)
It also proves 18 month gap theory

But the trees were "growing" not vanishing, and Darian already said that they won't expand the base
One hint I found that may be overlooked is that in the new openeing screen with hammer time the clock on the right one hand points to a one while the other points to a six. Making 16.
another one of the hints could be the red and white clan castle badge hinting towards the theme (maybe something related to fire)
I wasn´t expecting th16 yet, but I´ll be stoked if it really was. I want to mention again that your idea with more heroes that does similar things as the ones we already got that we could choose depending on what base we hits. I mean only 4 heroes in every attack, but more to choose from. Would LOVE that!
I have a feeling it'll be an underwater theme, with the blue color being consistently *lighter colored*, not like ice spells or invisibility, but more akin to the water by the shore of the stock scenery. The shell from the promotion seems to be another hint as well, since it seems oddly out of place with the in-between Halloween and Christmas, so the water theme may be a possbility.
I don't think Christmas or Halloween affect the update theme since it's gonna stay that way forever and not an event

my thesis is that the blue dragon looking thing is a hint towards a new builder base island. if u go to the second builder base thing theres a bridge on the right side that looks like it leads to something and all around it are blue crystals that match the color of the dragon thing

I'm still hooked on the fact that there was a conversation about letting us use heros while their upgrading hopefully it's just a thing and no string tied it's definitely something I'm interested in
had an interesting idea for a new spell. The "Counter" Spell. it would negate the effect of spell towers in a small radius for a short amount of time. Cost either 1 or 2 slots.

Also maybe there will be 2 more defences, either new or existing ones, because there are two empty spaces above the TownHall.
The TH 16 theme will be Frost and as December is coming. And also the new pet is an ice pet doing some ice damage and maybe slowing opponents.
I would love to see more things that lower town halls can use like the battle drill and recall spell, (because i don’t think I’ll get there) XD

Th15 was released last year, which was 12 months ago and Darien said that they plan on releasing a new th every 18 months. So I don't think that they'll release it 6 months early

I love the way how they are hinting us towards an update, and then later releasing all of the things day after day, not all at once
Before every last town hall upgrade they have released a way for town halls to speed up their upgrades. This time the goblin event came and is still here until very close to the predicted Christmas upgrade time. So I think it's been obvious the th upgrade was coming. Honestly I just thought it would take some more months (i.e. March/April).
One thing you forgot is that the clan "Its coming" is clan level 16 too
Instead of a water theme it could be an ice theme. We've already seen the creature, and it looks more ice than water. if the creature was a pet it could slow down defensives for the heroes.

There is a possibility that the theme is chess, in the'future' loading screen there was a "Th246" in the back ground which kind of indicates the release date of Th16 and also there were Pawns floating near the place where Th246 was written, Knight, rook and bishop on the billboard

Maybe its a water troop with water defence to counter all of the "inferno" buildings and troops we have? So the water troop will take less damage and deal increased damage to inferno towers / giga inferno. And a water defence to counter the inferno drags and finger flamer.

Yea I remember seein that thingy in the trees and I wondered what it was
Its difficult to tell what the theme could be for the next one. I feel they've covered much of the colour spectrum noe when it comes to the higher levels. However i feel if it was an undereater update id not be too pleased mainly because we have three themes in the blue spectrum already, th 12, 13 and 15, so another blue would be too repetitive in my opinion. I thought about it going to a royal theme with gold but thats basically th11, then red and black are already done for 9 and 10. Im unsure how many town hall they will want to include as a final town hall (if that ever happens) If they added some more underdeveloped lower town halls to fit inbetween, that could be interesting to invite long term players into making new accounts and experiencing something different whilst keeping it fresh. For example the journey from town hall 1 to 8 is pretty similar visually at least, but if they added some town halls inbetween that could be really interesting too. Like i feel if a new town hall was placed between 8 and 9 to give a medieval theme with more metallic appearences and troops to make the transition feel seamless.
Overall my feelings on the experience of clash of clans is mainly positive except the lack of an interesting single player. I feel the current single player should be re branded to be more like challenges similar to the town hall training levels. And they made an interesting story that is innovative of clash of clans' current style which integrates more rewards other than loot, and focus on the goblin king because he was really intriguing when i played so long ago but was quickly forgotten

I just got a clash of clans ad and in that they confirmed TH16
I think that Town Hall 16 will not come now. The 18 months will be completed by April 2024. This Town Hall 15 is 6 stars. Because the title of the short video shows 6 trees, and when the video ends, it shows 7 trees, so I think this will be an update to upgrade Town Hall 15's weapon to 6 or 7 stars 🤔
Maybe, but I feel like making defenses stronger is the last thing they want to do. Someone also pointed out that it would say “upgrade weapon” if it wasn’t a new th level

Last time a new th was released they did a month or so where every upgrade was 50% off. If the th16 comes this christmas I really hope we see this again soon
What I concern of is the new BGM in log in sfx and in the home village
the theme could be futuristic, that fox looking thing looks futuristic and there is already a furture scenery that could match the town hall.
We already got a "futuristic" theme but it's a scenery & skins.

One thing I haven't seen you mention is the music on the game boot up screen and the music on the classic scenery has changed.
I think they are implying that the update will release in spring, given how basically everything (in nature) is green during that time.
Agreed. Plus there is always the Hammer Jam event which runs for a month before each town hall upgrade.
Even if the December update is coming on 16 December (which is too late and probably we'll get it earlier). There's less than a month left.
December 😬 won't that be too soon ,it should be around April (as per 18months difference ) but I feel reducing the 18months time to something like 16 or 14months will be better now ,because games worldwide have become more quick and progressive ,not like in the past .

We’re a year and a half early from townhall 16. They usually release a new townhall level every 2 and a half years. Th 15 released last year on October 10, 2022. Were barely 1 year since TH 15 was introduced
The new opening jingle and music that plays with the default scenery makes me think th16 will be wind themed. Flutes being very prominent in the music as well as each th before it being based around some element makes me think wind is probably the next one. Ntm I can totally see Supercell making the next th trap on death be the tornado trap. It's only the next logical step of annoying they can add.

The animal is a kitsune and when you open clash it plays a japanese like theme intro so maybe we have a japan inspired theme
I think the next town hall will launch when the work for hire (goblin worker event)gets completed (instead of hammer jam we are getting work for hire)
It's gonna be a freezing pet. The new th will have a smol freeze, so troops are gonna be in the th poison for longer and not have a chance to avoid the bomb and slow as well. I previously thought it might be a lightning spell for further damage but freeze works too ig
Maybe the new town hall theme will be water/glacier mythical animals(pets)/ environment and along with the TH 16 new water related pets... The present opening song of Coc is relaxing like in ocean or lakes or mountains... Its more like something mythical though, can be fairy also as the little pet going around the base looks alike a fairy pokemon

Hint that has given in 132 experience points means the hours remaining for th16, it will be on 27th November (after World championship)
1:35 on It's Coming text there are trees missing on two I which makes it 11 so i think it might be this Dec 11 😅
