Generally, it depends. Work days I'm a morning person (as long as I get 6 hours of sleep). Days off, night owl. Because I know I don't have to get up early the next day. Overall, I do prefer the morning because I feel more productive. But that's more a mindset thing, more than anything else. Like you were saying.
I guess I’ve alway been a morning person getting up around 5:30-6 a since I was in elementary school through my working life. I find myself most productive from the morning to around 3-4p then, depending how much I’ve accomplished, my brain starts to slow down and I find myself not being able to make demands of myself that are mentally challenging. I end up doing mindless busy work or reading to help keep up my concentration.

I have always been an early morning guy. I wake about 5:30am and make breakfast and start the morning routine. . Dave
