You two are such a breath of fresh air! My husband and I are still 10+/- years away from retirement but this is how we’d love to spend part of that phase. Love how active you guys are. I’d love to know more about your lives prior to this cruise-your kids/grandkids, etc. Keep vlogging! I look forward to these videos. 🤩
That’s a great idea, Mike and I have spoken about our lives off and on, but I will create a little short and get that out in the next day or two. Thanks for the suggestion.😀
I’ve loved watching your world trip cruise. It’s a bit disappointing of all the stops that have been cancelled but you both have such a great attitude.
We live in Ireland, looking forward to welcoming ye back in July. We have been following ye since day one on your amazing trip. If ever ye are playing golf in Ballyunion Co Kerry there is a cliff walk and there is a blow hole a bit better then the one ye visited 😂. Mary
Many thanks for the beautiful videos! Could you show us more about the interior of the ship, what are you doing during the evenings, during the see days, etc. I noticed you sometimes are talking about your time on the ship, but not so many videos!
We will try. We think some of what happens on the ship is just so ordinary. We’ll see if we can add a bit more of that kind of material to our videos.😀
Thank you both for bringing me along on this amazing journey!!! I've been to Ensenada and El boufadera blowhole and yes that walk thru the venders😸🤣😹. Yes, it's Mexico but I always manage to have fun like you two with some good Mexican food and a nice margarita. Cheers! 🥂👏👏👏👏🫂Stay safe and safe journeys.❤
This was so fun ! I drove there in the 80s and had my first huavos Ranchero breakfast , it was amazing ! Not any vendors back then . Just the beautiful walk and ocean !
First off thank you for the clear......loud sound quality! As Ive said had such horrible experiences in Baja Cabo Ensenada and Tijuana border......never care to go back.LOL the blowhole.Just glad you had a safe time.
I went to a blow hole in Acadia National Park in Maine. This blow hole was much more lively. I would be mesmerized just watching the water fill up and empty out. At least you got sea spray. Looking forward to world cruise: part deux.
That blow hole is amazing. My dad and his sister and husband took us to Bar Harbor for vacation when I was a kid about 40 years ago. We stayed on Deer Isle.
@@livingphase2I laughed at myself thinking of all the beautiful places you have and continue to go in comparison to that excursion, so no doubt very understandable that it was not your favorite. I love watching your travels.
Years ago we would take a day cruise from San Diego to Ensenada. We would party all the way there, then hang out in The Long Bar. Fun times down there!
I love your videos so much!! 😁 I’m a laser engraver and it looks like they didn’t clean the “dust” off of the KC cup. If so, just take a damp cloth and wipe it. If it’s been there a while you may have to rub a little harder. ♥️
When I first found out about this cruise, I said no way could I ever do something like that. However, after watching your videos, I've decided I could do a 9 month works cruise! Unfortunately, it'll never happen so I'll just keep watching your videos! 😂
Years ago we went to Ensenada on a cruise stop. We took a tour out to a winery, which was actually quite nice. Most folks it seemed, made a beeline to Ensenada's many pharmacies to stock up on whatever they needed.
Thank you for the tour! Love the food ideas for this port! You both do such an amazing job with the videos. Sure wish I was on board but your videos are making us look forward to our Europe cruise on Odyssey of the Seas in April.
Love love love your videos and shorts! Question - did you use a travel agent to book your world cruise or did you book online directly? Sorry if this was already asked.😊
Just got back from a carnival cruise 2 weeks ago. It went to Ensenada. I have been to that port so many times because I live on the west coast. Really nothing much to see. A couple times I have walked into town and gotten a massage. Much cheaper than getting one on the cruise. I am continuing to watch your adventures and am loving all your videos!
As for your point about cruise excursions versus versus third party excursions, we select both carefully. We prefer cruise excursions if the ship departs early (tight timelines) or if the city/state is experiencing security challenges. Otherwise, we use third party excursions
We agree completely. At some ports all aboard is as early as 2:30 in the afternoon. That can make for a tight connection and it’s not worth risking missing the ship.
You missed out on ‘Papas and Beers’ - the crews used to hang out there - a fun place! My girlfriend and I used to go there when we were doing three day cruises out of LA on the old Monarch of the Seas back in the day!
Love following along with your world cruise voyage. You will have to visit Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor Maine to see Thunder Hole when the tide is coming in. It’s more impressive than Mexico.
Another great video.....I remember on our way back from Hawaii in 2012 we stopped at Ensenada.... there were jeeps with men in fatigues driving around with firearms in their hands. I didn't notice that in your video....are they no longer driving around the port?
Love your blogs and so enjoy fooling along on your world cruise… if only I could convince my wife to do this. The blowhole will be reliant on the tide level, so experiences will vary based on time and tide. Looks like the tide was a little low when you visited, and that’s always my issue with cruising, your time window is so constrained.
Memory Lane…back in the early 70’s, when I lived in SD and wasn’t yet 21, many times my friends and I would go to TJ and Rosarito Beach and occasionally Ensenada. Back then, La Bufadora was just that, a blow hole. There were no vendors, no excursions, nothing. We drove to look at it a couple of times, and went back to town for a couple of cervezas. Hussong’s was THE bar, and that was it. I probably wouldn’t even recognize it now.
I’ve seen a few blow holes. I think you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all It’s OK with me that you’re a little bit behind because I really don’t want this cruise to end, even though I’m doing it vicariously. So if you finish up a month after the cruise is over, it’s just fine with me because it will make it longer. Stay safe.
All meals on the ship are included unless we eat at a specialty restaurant. Royal did include several excursions, but most of them we pay for ourselves.
The blowhole can be a lot more dramatic, depending on tide and conditions. We had to stand well back to avoid getting soaked. That said, it's no "Old Faithful" even at its most dramatic. I agree with you--I did it once and I may well end up doing it again, but I don't have to.
Guys really enjoying your channel. Thinking maybe you will need to pick up the pace a bit. With this video you are about 45 days behind. I get it that you don't want the channel to take priority but will be several months behind before long. Keep them coming. Thanks,
La Bufadora is tide sensitive folks. At other hours it really sends up a strong gusher. And I’m sorry, speaking as a Mexican, you don’t negotiate everything here in México. At a market like that, okay, but in other settings “regatear” is not the custom. I hope your friends who got a haircut didn’t try to negóciate the price.
Ohh, I thought the blow-hole impressive enough...it felt like a whale was tucked into bed under the water and softly breathing while he slept :) OMG! ELOTES!!! Every mexican place I eat, I ask them if they have elotes! :P
Thank you, thank you, for taking me along. God bless you both.
Thanks so much for following along on our journey!
"That was it?" had me LAUGHING! Oh no.... poor blowhole.... 😂 But those elote and tacos! That's right up my alley!
It kind of had us laughing as well. We certainly were expecting more.😂
Lots of Fun Enjoy and Stay Safe All Ways All
God Bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you! You too!
Love Watching
Thank you, we truly appreciate you!🥰
Thanks for bringing us along on your Ultimate World Cruise, we are enjoying it immensely.
Thanks so much for watching and following along.

Thanks so much!

Go now....Don't wait.
"Go when ya can....Ya never know when ya can't".
these shows are great!
Thanks so much!
I am finally caught up on your videos. Thourghly enjoying the videos. Living vicariously thru your ports. Looking forward to more videos!!!
Glad you like them!
I’ve loved watching your world trip cruise. It’s a bit disappointing of all the stops that have been cancelled but you both have such a great attitude.
Well, we knew the itinerary would never hold out, so we expected changes and cancellations along the way. We just have to make the best of them.
Thank you for bringing me along on your first quarter of the World Cruise 🛳️🛳️
Thanks for watching!
We did a kayak excursion with our teens at the blow hole. That was fun. I’m really enjoying your videos.
Thanks for watching. I bet that was a nice trip to see it from that perspective
It always brightens my day when I see you’ve posted a new video! I’m living vicariously through you and am really enjoying all of your content.
Thanks so much!

Thank you
All the food looks amazing
We’ve had some great food!
We are enjoying your videos. We love to cruise and have been on the Seranade, enjoyed the ship. We are living this adventure thru yall.

Enjoying your videos a lot! Best from the Netherlands

That sounds lovely!
Enjoying your updates very much! Best wishes from Scotland 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
First off thank you for the clear......loud sound quality! As Ive said had such horrible experiences in Baja Cabo Ensenada and Tijuana border......never care to go back.LOL the blowhole.Just glad you had a safe time.
Thanks so much for watching. Sorry you had bad experiences in those places.
Your videos are one of the best 🌟🥂🌟
Glad you like them!
I went to a blow hole in Acadia National Park in Maine.
This blow hole was much more lively.
I would be mesmerized just watching the water fill up and empty out.

That blow hole is amazing. My dad and his sister and husband took us to Bar Harbor for vacation when I was a kid about 40 years ago. We stayed on Deer Isle.
@jxchamb thunder hole.
I guess you have to go when seas are rough for best action. Our day was calm but I still enjoyed it all.
I am so enjoying your videos
Thank you.
My daughter and I went last Sept, and we were pleasantly pleased at how much we loved seeing it.
Wonderful. I’m glad you had a good experience!
@@livingphase2I laughed at myself thinking of all the beautiful places you have and continue to go in comparison to that excursion, so no doubt very understandable that it was not your favorite. I love watching your travels.
Wonderful videos --thoroughly enjoying all your travels --such a lovely couple !!!
Thanks so much! 😊

Oh thank you! Appreciate that suggestion very much!
I always enjoy your vlogs. It makes sense to see the sights first. Less time to carry purchases.
That’s exactly right. And thanks for watching.
Thanks again for another great video!
Glad you like them!

Years ago we went to Ensenada on a cruise stop. We took a tour out to a winery, which was actually quite nice. Most folks it seemed, made a beeline to Ensenada's many pharmacies to stock up on whatever they needed.
Visiting a winery would’ve been really nice and it’s probably what we’ll do if we come back here again.
This reminds me of all the hype of Thunder Hole at Acadia National Park in Maine. It is pretty anticlimactic even if you do hit it at high tide.
😉
Thank you for the tour! Love the food ideas for this port! You both do such an amazing job with the videos.
Sure wish I was on board but your videos are making us look forward to our Europe cruise on Odyssey of the Seas in April.
Thanks so much for watching and have a fabulous cruise!
Enjoying tagging along! We board in Rome, see you soon!
Wonderful! When you see us on the ship, be sure to say hello or feel free to sit down with us at breakfast or lunch in the Windjammer.😀
Love your descriptions…you’re great to travel with!
Thanks so much!
Food and drinks look amazing! Thank you, it’s so fun to follow along!
Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you, hugs!!!
You are so welcome!
Thank you for the information, we will be there in October.
Wonderful. Have a great time!
Love love love your videos and shorts! Question - did you use a travel agent to book your world cruise or did you book online directly? Sorry if this was already asked.😊
We did use a travel agent to book the world cruise.
Still looking forward to your video about the kitchen
I promise, we haven’t forgotten.

Another great video.....I remember on our way back from Hawaii in 2012 we stopped at Ensenada.... there were jeeps with men in fatigues driving around with firearms in their hands. I didn't notice that in your video....are they no longer driving around the port?
There were police with firearms patrolling the area. We did not feel unsafe at any time.
I’m sure it was low tide and we agree completely about time constraints when going on tours.
I think they have a similar geyser type on one other Hawaiian Islands. It seemed alot more powerful. Really enjoying the videos.❤
Yes, there are similar ones around the world. Thanks so much for watching and following along on our journey.

Who do you use for your independent tours ? SEG ? Not sure the actual name. Love your videos !
Yes, I'd like to know the same thing!
We use various independent tour companies. SEG stands for shore, excursions group. We also use Viator and tours by locals.
Are all meals and food and excursions included?
All meals on the ship are included unless we eat at a specialty restaurant. Royal did include several excursions, but most of them we pay for ourselves.
The blowhole can be a lot more dramatic, depending on tide and conditions. We had to stand well back to avoid getting soaked. That said, it's no "Old Faithful" even at its most dramatic. I agree with you--I did it once and I may well end up doing it again, but I don't have to.
Yes, I’m guessing we were there at low tide
Also you have seen so much so unique - if you had seen it 1st you might have a different view but yes blow holes are once an done but scenery changes
Agreed!
The pace for your videos is just fine. WE are living vicariously through you! Please enjoy your time globetrotting.
Thanks for your kind words, and thank you for watching, and following along on our journey!
What is SEG tours?
SEG stands for shore excursions group
What is a SCG tour?
SEG Tours. Shore Excursions Group
I thought the blowhole is super cool! I’d love to see that someday.
Wonderful!
You missed the best part of this port, the wineries in the area. Some of the best wine in the Americas. IMO
We would visit the wineries if we go back there next time.
Guys really enjoying your channel. Thinking maybe you will need to pick up the pace a bit. With this video you are about 45 days behind. I get it that you don't want the channel to take priority but will be several months behind before long. Keep them coming. Thanks,

That is so true about the negotiation, and we probably did not explain it clearly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
