A year after I gave them to him he cut off the holo-center off from every one of the cards I gave him and he glued them to his binders/folders for school. I had over 100 holo's but the one's I was proud of owning the most were my Sabrina's Alakazam, Giovanni's Nidoking , Erika's Venasaur, Misty's Gyarados, Rocket's Mewtwo and Rocket's Moltres.
Thanks man. I just record on my phone and it turns out pretty good. I've thought about making a longer submission video to show the details. A lot of times, I'll pull a card out for the smallest imperfection. These 40 minute videos get to be too long for people sometimes.

None of them are graded b/c I'm not sure if the price for the PSA grading will be worth it. Are you interested in any of these if they would end up being PSA 8 or above?

I would assume at least $8 because of shipping, insurance, return shipping, grading fees, semi rigid holders, etc. You'd only get that price if your sending 100 cards plus with a subscription or sending with someone. I usually pay $100+ in shipping/insurance alone per submission for both ways.

I buy all the above. Singles have the worst luck with quality. PSA looks at everything & most collectors will forget about once piece or another; fingerprints, corner scratches, edgewear... Timing depends. Latelt it's been about 6 weeks door to door for me.

Hard to find a mint version of the card to grade either due to bad printing quality, factory scratches (dull blades), etc. Some sets have great quality off the press (Japanese cards) and are much easier to get PSA 10s.

$5 in average condition. The set was mass produced with the error, so it's not as rare as you might think, but definitely a few dollars more than the corrected versions.

I once got one of my cards PSA graded. I got the cards on amazon, the first card which was supposed to be the only one took like 2-3 MONTHS to get to me so we got another one, so we had two of them. My dad sent them to PSA, problem: it got lost in the mail so it took FOREVER.
once i send my mint alakazam expedition holo reverse card to one of those grading companies, what i got back was a scratched alakazam card that was a normal holo, and it wasn't even from the same set! short said, it was not my card.. and i really loved that card. when i tried to complain about it so i could get my card back they send me a messages that they get hundres of card every week and if they had mixed up my card with someone else's that they were "sorry". they didn't try to fix it. so someone else got my beautiful mint alakazam card and i got someone else's shit card.. i will never grade any of my cards again.

I shipped them in Semi Rigid Ultra Pro sleeves to be graded by PSA. PSA graded the cards and cased them for me. Each grading company has a different case.

I just said fuck it and bundled them all together and sold about 100 for $80 and then I sold my base trio set (Charizard, Blastoise, Venasaur 2nd base) for $40. It would've taken to long to sell them separately and I just wanted to get rid of them. All were in good condition, none of them were 1st editions though. They were all bought by the same buyer so I cut him a deal on the holo set. I'm sure I did good. Could have I gotten more? I think so, but not much, maybe another $50. Just glad I got about $300 from all this. Guys, let me know what you think.
