Yes you described my hair. I was confused why my hair was so bad even though I don’t dye or style my hair! Ima try your tips and hope it gets better. I especially hate how stringy and greasy it looks even if I just washed it.
writing down the hair routine so I can try it ✨💞 (my hair has everything you described, it's wavy with some straighter areas and it's greasy on the top and really dry on the ends 😩) 📝 only use a tiny bit of product for each, like penny size Wavy routine: 1. After washing, detangler and comb out all the product 2. Leave-in conditioner 3. Mousse 4. Gel 5. Oil (even less amount) Blowout routine: 1. Detangler and comb it out 2. Leave-in conditioner 3. Blow out pre gel 4. Oil (even less amount) 🫧 Rules to take care of your hair: - avoid heavy products, find lightweight products (serums and sprays) - use less amount of products, stick to 3 to 4, also use a little amount of each - keep your hair clean, wash it when it gets oily, at least 2 times a week - moisturizing your hair is key, use a hair mask when washing it once a week - overall care (avoid dye, heat) and if you use them, protect it and repair it with products my personal washing routine: 💗💆🏻♀️ 1- I've been applying oils to my hair like 5 mins before washing (castor, rosemary, almond, argan, jojoba, coconut on the ends) and it has helped so much, also massaging a lot and stimulating the scalp is key! 2 - Then I use a good shampoo that focuses on cleansing the scalp, and I do two rounds of it to make sure it's clean. 3 - After the shampoo I go in with a hair mask and leave for 15mins while I wash my body, and lastly if I'm feeling dry I use conditioner as well. 💌 I'll keep you posted with my progress in a few weeks!
love that you took notes!!🤍 it took me a while to remember all this so hopefully it helps you! for the hair mask- i only use it one once a week! not every time i wash my hair (: keep me posted!!🫶🏼
I'm loving these low porosity video because my hair is so similar! Do you have any recs for shampoo and conditioners? Do you skip conditioners in the shower and just use the leave in after?
my recs are linked in the description, i only have a few! for drugstore recs the loreal elvive line is really good (: i don't skip conditioner, just remember to not use too much!
The mane and fable shampoo says for medium/thick hair. What would you suggest for thin hair? (Shampoo and conditioner wise) also, what hair oil did you put into your hair at the end? Thank you!
Hii, I like your videos so much! Would you recommend the Ouai leave-in conditioner or the Briogeo one? Also, is the Briogeo Don’t Dispair, Repair Deep Conditioning Hair mask worth the investment? Thank you so much,,
I didn't like the Ouai leave in, it felt too heavy for me and my bestie swears by it. If you do end up getting it I recommend ulta or sephora to be able to return it in case it doesn't work for you
Okey I have a question I wash my hair then after air drying it I apply oil and leave it till next wash day like for 5-6 days ...is it a problem because if I don't oil my hair it will become brittle and dry ...will keeping the oil hinder the hair growth growth
I have to wash my hair every single day or it starts to smell and get greasy, is that fine? Can I use a sulfate shampoo everyday or sulfate free? I’m still struggling between the two. And I should be cleansing twice everyday?
u can wash with the sulfate free one first, then the sulfate one! i have 3a hair and it works well. also,u should get a shampoo that is for greasy hair or else it'll stay like that.
Question if anyone can answer~ when washing your hair so first it’s washing with a clarifying shampoo, then is washing with a moisturizing shampoo, then is it straight to a hair mask ? Or do I condition my hair and then a hair mask? And then after shower leave in conditioner? I’d appreciate the help 🙏🏻
I don’t necessarily think you have to use the clarifying shampoo AND the regular shampoo at the same wash day. Use regular shampoo almost every wash day, just sub it out for the clarifying shampoo once every week. Then, go in with a hair mask and leave that in for about 10 minutes. Wash it out and then put conditioner on ur ends as well if your ends have been really dry and need the extra moisture. Pro tip: before you use the hair mask, dry your hair off gently with a (microfiber) towel to get excess water off before putting hair mask on. After shower, put in some leave in conditioner and then a small amount of oil
@@sweetpianoo that one causes me headaches whenever I tie my hair too tight and it left my hair heavy, brittle and tangled but it’s sucks though I like it but my hair disagrees with me😭 now idk what to do with two bottles still filled with shampoo and conditioner
My problem is my hair get so frizzy at outside!! 😭 I use hair masks and leave in conditioner but despite of that it gets frizz everytime I step outside. 😭😭😭😭
Dude i laughed so hard at 7:34. Thanks for the video. I have the same hair as you. But i never used anything more than shampoo on the regular (rarely masks or serums) maybe by instinct? My hair is a biiit finer than yours so i would have to wash more frequently. In high school i used to wash it at night then wash my fringe at noon. Or the oil would start smearing across my forehead lol
I wouldn’t. I’ve heard it’s not good for low porosity hair. I’d find something else to use besides that brand. Reviews have been saying it’s making their hair fall out later on because it’s mainly for thicker hair

You can use on both wet and dry hair. Just remember to use only a little bit because sometimes it can be easy to accidentally using a lot when you’re putting it on wet hair. Focus on the very ends
diluting thicker creams with water and using them in a spray bottle works great too!!
Omg such a great idea ! Thank you 😊
omg u just saved my whole life

My no.1 tip is to NEVER use a lot of protein containing products. Use products that has humectants but NO PROTEIN.
What happens when you use too much protein?
@@cupidjuice6181 It can turn brittle or straight if you have curls
I have low por, fine, wavy hair and protein is so important for my hair. Everyone has to find out individually.
That's true
I'm loving these low porosity video because my hair is so similar! Do you have any recs for shampoo and conditioners? Do you skip conditioners in the shower and just use the leave in after?

What shampoo and conditioner do you recommend
The mane and fable shampoo says for medium/thick hair. What would you suggest for thin hair? (Shampoo and conditioner wise) also, what hair oil did you put into your hair at the end?
Thank you!
Can we use both hair mask and leave in conditioner together?? Or does it cause buildup
Love the background. !! Thank you for sharing your tips!!
Can you do a wavy hair refresh video ?
Yay thank you for this video! ❤ Can i know what is your haircare routine in between hair wash days?
Love these hair videos!!
Beautiful hair!! Thank you for the tips!! Can you please do shampoo and conditioner or mask recommendations!! I’m on the hunt for good shampoo!!
speechless is amazing 😍🥰

OMFG. I was gasping cuz all the signs she descirbed literally relate with me. Guess i have low porosit hair.
How do you use the coconut oil?
Can you recommend drug store products for low porosity hair? Also can we use a hair mask?

at least now you know it's low porosity hair 🥲
What about hair oiling?

I also have low porosity hair is the Japanese fino hair mask good for it or the honey& shampoo and conditioner good
Which and honey shampoo
@cupidjuice6181 I think it’s the blossom/sakura one

@@jasanahis thank you so much 😊
i literally went to bed with my hair in braids freshly washed and woke up with wet looking greasy hair😭😭😭
My problem is my hair get so frizzy at outside!! 😭
I use hair masks and leave in conditioner but despite of that it gets frizz everytime I step outside. 😭😭😭😭
i have very thick wavy hair and i straighten is everyday is it gonna make it worse?
How is the Redken concentrate leave in for this hair type?

I even paid £300 for a keratin treatment for my low porosity hair and it did nothing 🙃
Plus my hair takes 10-12 hours to dry
Oh no that sounds like me, it was so frustrating and they told it was suitable for my hair when it wasn't 😢
All signs match besides my hair getting wet fast in the shower. But maybe it's cause its very fine and thin?
Omg I definitely have this hair type. What conditioner and shampoo do you use I would love to know cause mine is definitely too heavy
And also what’s a good hair mask for low porosity hair?
i have them linked in my description bestie! but in general, look for very light shampoos and conditioners, nothing too repairing or heavy!
Your voice is similar to Rosé 😮
Thank God for low porosity hair it’s so much LESS work🙏 for my lazy ass
I have low porosity hair, can I use Mielle rosemary oil or is it heavy?
i used to use it no problem, just make sure to wash it all out (:
I wouldn’t. I’ve heard it’s not good for low porosity hair. I’d find something else to use besides that brand. Reviews have been saying it’s making their hair fall out later on because it’s mainly for thicker hair
