Yes you described my hair. I was confused why my hair was so bad even though I don’t dye or style my hair! Ima try your tips and hope it gets better. I especially hate how stringy and greasy it looks even if I just washed it.

I'm loving these low porosity video because my hair is so similar! Do you have any recs for shampoo and conditioners? Do you skip conditioners in the shower and just use the leave in after?
my recs are linked in the description, i only have a few! for drugstore recs the loreal elvive line is really good (: i don't skip conditioner, just remember to not use too much!
Thank you for the info on low porosity! I just figured out I'm low porosity. One thing I noticed is the Redken one united is the first ingredient is coconut oil and coconut oil is a No No for low porosity!?
I've used coconut oil my whole life (kinda status quo if you're from any country in the Indian subcontinent), also have low porosity hair. Coconut oil isn't an issue.
Tips on heatless curls for low porosity hair? I can’t find anyone who talks about it but my hair will not hold those overnight robe curls. If it’s dry, it doesn’t curl and if it’s wet, it is wet in the morning too.
i hate using to robe curls or curlers when sleeping they're so uncomfortable. instead i do two french braids and sleep like that. its not "curly" next morning, but it is really wavy and pretty. usually i wait until my hair is 80% dry before i put it in braids tho or else it will still be wet the next morning and fall straight.
The mane and fable shampoo says for medium/thick hair. What would you suggest for thin hair? (Shampoo and conditioner wise) also, what hair oil did you put into your hair at the end? Thank you!
Truly my hair ticks a lot of low porosity checkboxes but the hair instead of getting greasy but its super dry and it repels water it takes longer to get wet but it dries in an instant...So is my hair a low porosity?
Dude i laughed so hard at 7:34. Thanks for the video. I have the same hair as you. But i never used anything more than shampoo on the regular (rarely masks or serums) maybe by instinct? My hair is a biiit finer than yours so i would have to wash more frequently. In high school i used to wash it at night then wash my fringe at noon. Or the oil would start smearing across my forehead lol
1. avoid heavy creams or products (sits right on hair) 2. if it comes in a spray bottle, it is USUALLY compatible with the low porosity hair type 3. use less number of products, and LESS OF EACH products - she sticks to 3-4 products per routine (no more) - multitasking products will be your best friend (ie: redkin all in one multi benefit treatment) - cream or lotion for hair - don't use TOO MUCH! - 3 sprays 4. keeping hair clean is KEY - hair training is a "myth" - washing hair less frequently has less benefits (she washes 2-3 a week) - more oils will accumulate if you don't wash regulary 5. use a deep cleansing or clarifying shampoo once every week or 3x a month (to remove buildup from hair) 6. use hair mask after clarifying shampoo to avoid drying the ends 7. moisturize HAIR! (steam from shower while wearing hair mask may help to loose cuticles) 8. do regular trims for split ends!!

Hii, I like your videos so much! Would you recommend the Ouai leave-in conditioner or the Briogeo one? Also, is the Briogeo Don’t Dispair, Repair Deep Conditioning Hair mask worth the investment? Thank you so much,,
I didn't like the Ouai leave in, it felt too heavy for me and my bestie swears by it. If you do end up getting it I recommend ulta or sephora to be able to return it in case it doesn't work for you
Question if anyone can answer~ when washing your hair so first it’s washing with a clarifying shampoo, then is washing with a moisturizing shampoo, then is it straight to a hair mask ? Or do I condition my hair and then a hair mask? And then after shower leave in conditioner? I’d appreciate the help 🙏🏻
I don’t necessarily think you have to use the clarifying shampoo AND the regular shampoo at the same wash day. Use regular shampoo almost every wash day, just sub it out for the clarifying shampoo once every week. Then, go in with a hair mask and leave that in for about 10 minutes. Wash it out and then put conditioner on ur ends as well if your ends have been really dry and need the extra moisture. Pro tip: before you use the hair mask, dry your hair off gently with a (microfiber) towel to get excess water off before putting hair mask on. After shower, put in some leave in conditioner and then a small amount of oil
I have fine thin typical asian hair, straight but my hair is frizzy. And you tell that hair feels like raincoat, and I am OMG. My thin hair can dry half almost 5 hours. I always think my hair was dry AF, so I decided not to dye, perm for few years now and use very less iron curl. 😮😮😮 But my hair still need couple hours to dry and I still have those frizzy. My mom even always pinpoint how frizzy my hair is and ask if it has split ends 😭😭 No it's not. It's just look frizzy but when you touch it, it's not as dry as you think. My god. I think trim may be the answer. I had used only 1 products leave in light cream, I even forget to use it time to time. 😅😅😅 But maybe I should try to trim it. Hmmm
Okey I have a question I wash my hair then after air drying it I apply oil and leave it till next wash day like for 5-6 days ...is it a problem because if I don't oil my hair it will become brittle and dry ...will keeping the oil hinder the hair growth growth
I have to wash my hair every single day or it starts to smell and get greasy, is that fine? Can I use a sulfate shampoo everyday or sulfate free? I’m still struggling between the two. And I should be cleansing twice everyday?
yeah thats a big no no with low porosity hair, i too have made this mistake lol, braids or curlers in wet freshly washed hair just means it will literally never dry. try waiting until ur hair is 75-80% dry before braiding it!!!
