A close in-law of mine has very keen senses. He is usually the first one to assess a situation in milliseconds, and always acts *right* first. One day, I offered canned beer to my cousin, first thing he did was take it from her and open it: I hadn't observed she recently had a manicure done, and opening the can could have damaged her nails.
My in-law can instantly deduce entire situations with just a glance: He can tell a store has been closed (the entrance lights were off) despite not having a sign, he can identify lost objects (noticed that a friend of mine was missing a scarf even though he stared at her for less than a minute). Another time, he could quickly infer that there was a car accident because the freeway was blocked, and in a matter of one (1) second, he immediately deduced that there was an accident (there were glass shards scattered on the asphalt). My in-law and I don't talk much, but he tells me that he used to be a life scout when he was a boy. He didn't make it to Eagle, but according to him the habit stuck to him. Others suspect that he might be brainwashed (too obsessed with the US military, even more than the average Mexican).
I recently turned 32, I was raised in forced seclusion (long story) and I have mild ADHD. For me, not to have such an essential skill is inadmissible. If I am to consider myself a man, having good situational awareness is a necessary mindset to keep my family, friends, innocent bystanders and myself safe. Where should I start?
    Thank you for your video.
