Tragically, it wasn’t always that way. Boeing used to have an unrivaled reputation for extremely high and rigorous engineering standards. But once management became ‘PowerPoint/Excel engineers’ focused on bean counting and DEI it became not a question of ‘if’ but ‘when’ failures would occur in production aircraft.
"One of the things that set Boeing aircraft from the competition is the company's rigorous testing processes" - well.... does anyone remember why all Boeing 737 MAX were grounded in 2019? 😛
Because of you Punk Ass New Age Programmers 😂 We were putting out 747s every 3 Days for over 2 years. And many more over the years of production. AND,.. WITHOUT THE NEED FOR DAILY UPDATES. We kinda got it right the first time. Yes, that's novel concept isn't it. ... do you remember that 🤡

What! Really? 346 people died in two seperate crashes on the Boeing Max because of them cutting corners to compete with Airbus. Is that the "best journey experience" you are talking about? Boeing are corrupt criminals.
Why is almost half the video about a completely different plane from a completely different company??? You also only delved into the "Assembly" process of the A380 (albeit very surface level stuff) and didn't even touch on the "Building" part...
Fantastic experience to watch the technology deployed and how precisely engineering is done for safe take off and landing . Salutations to all the Engineers and craftsmen engaged in the process. Thanks
Just looking at the engine and the tiny components and wires it has, working together perfectly for decades, shows how far we have come. And its just a part of the aircraft. I cant even begin to imagine the complexity of whole of the aircraft with its wiring to the control section, its microprocessors made up of billions of nano transistors all working together so nicely. Just Amazing!!!
London Heathrow to New York JFK is 5555 kilometers, shortest distance. Assuming you could fly that path and you reached top speed immediately and could keep it all the way, then that would mean 2777.5 km/hour. (That is roughly a mach number of 2.3, more than most jet fighters!) The Concorde had a cruising speed of 2158 km/h, so your wished-for plane would have to be 29% faster. Now ,take into consideration that you can't reach cruising speed immediately, probably can't go supersonic at all over land, can't fly the straight route etc. Just going into eg JFK requires to approach in a certain pattern that could easily require to circle the airport for 15 minutes, and that at relatively low speeds because you're in a queue pattern with a lot of "ordinary" airliners going maybe 600 km/h at this stage, getting lower when closing in on the runway. I'm guesstimating, but you dream jet would probably have to cruise at or above mach 3 (roughly 3550 km/h). The Lockhees SR-71 had a top speed of 3550 km/h. The cost of such a plane would be extremely high. Thus, the ticket price would be extremely high. Thus, the market would be very (VERY!) small. Airline companies would not be interested, and thus Airbus would not be interested in building it. Even if they were, You'd have to be very (VERY!) rich to afford the ticket. There were some twin seat SR-71s built. Maybe find one that can be restored to flight-wothy condition, and try to hire a retired CIA pilot. 😂 Also, convince the authorities at both ends to allow you to traffic their airports with an SR-71.. And remember to add the time to get in and out of the flight suit needed. It's more or less a space suit , so it will take time. Maybe add an hour getting prepared, and 30 minutes getting out of it. So now we're back at Concorde crossing times.. Aaand... The whole Concorde thing was terminated due to bad economy. (The Paris CDG crash just helped to counter the prestige of the Concorde program.) Yes, maybe Airbus can do it - technically. But Airbus' "raison-d'etre" is to make a profit. Same for the Airline companies. It won't happen.
A380 is the best airplane ever made, in fact it's the only airplane I feel comfortable for long journeys. Cabin pressure, toilet size, silence, vibe of being inside an airship... is just perfect. Sad that Airbus & airliners are in delusion that people don't care about the airplane, and are slowing dropping it.
Honestly in terms of comfort I feel much better on the A350 XWB. I've never been on a dreamliner though, but been on plenty of A380s. Will miss seeing those giant jets around though
@@SamAbraham I would agree, the A350 is a better flying experience. I fly London to Singapore frequently and base my flights in order of preference with the A350 first and the A380 second. If it shows a 777 I'll find another flight.

The big problem with the A380 is landing at Birmingham, UK with a nearly full plane and two other flights landing around the same time. The terminal was swamped, Emirates limo service were calling asking where I got to. Now whether the other two flights were late or early I don't know. Emirates choice of business seating on the A380 is streets ahead of their choice on the B777 which is more of a coffin.
Was lucky and got a VIP tour of Hamburg plant years ago (US Airways & Airbus fund raiser). Got to see the A380 fuselage assembly from the ground...amazes me that a two storie building flys! A320 final assembly was pretty cool too.
as an American I am a big Boeing fanboy, and always loved the 747. But the last of those planes has been built. Now, the Airbus A380 must carry the torch of the super jumbo jets. They are beautiful planes!
As someone who has worked Boeing blueprints alteration in my young days, they still make great aircrafts. But Airbus is a he'll of an aircraft. It's smooth. I have talked to pilots flying 777 they love that aircraft.

Is this video about the Airbus A380 or an advertisement of how Boeing test their planes and lets pilots know what to do if things go wrong.
Exactly. At least in last few years Boeing is NOT doing well, because it is NOT testing properly.
Right
you noticed that too huh? they kinda dont stay on any real topics.. they did go into great detail about the plane being painted though
