I have a suggestion for you. I'm only 25% through this video- so you might've come up with it already. Hang a curtain in the recessed area and put your desk there. That leaves the rest of the room kinda squared off. You could put your amps opposite the black wall. If I have the right idea about the rooms' shape it will let the sound travel the length of the room, you'll have the entire black wall for guitars, and it should make it easier to strategically hang the acoustic panels. Just a thought. Congratulations on the new house.

People defend him by saying he's a smart business man. I don't think GGD and Horizon are raking him in millions, but I could be wrong. I haven't heard of any other businesses he has positions in. Maybe he got lucky with some investments. Who knows? Does he not have money, because he spends it all on shiny toys? Or, from his perspective, he doesn't make enough money to pursue a more luxurious and sustainable lifestyle. Again, who knows? All that being said, I don't think it's anyone's place to bash him or defend him on his financial status. No one knows, except probably his Dad, accountant, and maybe some close friends.

I quit playing guitar after playing for 15 years, I was bored one day and I stumbled upon your channel, nik nocturnals, keyan houshman and a few others and it sparked something in me.seeing you guys play 8 string guitar, completely different styles then what I came from (thrash,black metal) has made me pick the instrument back up, and with a completely different focus. It's an awesome setup man! I absolutely love the guitar wall!! Only thing I'll say is the cables going to and from the amp - you may come across tiny bit more latency (in the DAW which could lead to phase issues) as there are two longer cables! Plus with a long unbalanced cable (guitar cable), it could get more noise from being a longer cable. Just something to keep in mind! Aside from that, it's an amazing studio!! Love the content, keep it up!
That latency thing is not really correct. Electricity moves close to the speed of light which is roughly 300 million meters/second. This means that when tracking at 96k, +-3000 meters (10000 feet) of wire results in 1 sample of latency. This setup has a couple of 20feet cables which results in a fraction of a sample of latency. I do agree with the longer cables and their capacitance rolling of the high end ever so slightly though and being susceptible to noise.

What you should do is grab a patch bay for a more centralized routing point. The Behringer PX3000 Patchbay is affordable and very user-friendly and that would eliminate the whole back and forth situation when going between amps and route them all to a single point. Like if you want to run say your 5150 with the 2x12, you can just use a patch cable to route them together other than moving it to where the cab is.
Please make a Video with/about the old school Fireball 60. Would Love to hear you play through it and your thoughts! Just let the emotions Flow dude, you can be so proud of what you have achieved. Keep doing what you do, you are beautiful

Love the routing between the DI and Amp Heads. I also have those string swing hangers. I love them, but also found out that I was not going to be able to fit as many guitars on a wall without it looking silly. Still an awesome product though.

One little piece of advice from someone, who runs the same tuner. Keep it out of the signal flow. It adds a lot of noise. Use an active splitter in front of the DI to keep your recorded signal as clean as possible.

Make sure you are monitoring your humidity levels in there. If you haven’t yet, buy a humidity reader, dehumidifier, and humidifier. Your guitars will thank you haha.
