Palia: Proof of Magic Walkthrough - Finding all 8 Evidence Locations (EASY)

- The easiest route i found to get all 8 "Proof of magic" evidence tablets, there are 2 on the main island, 3 on the lantern bug island, 2 on the fishing island and 1 on the final island - this route takes you almost straight to each one so just follow along and pause if i get to far ahead. Ngl it took some work but it can be done I just have to find the evidence and I’m so happy to be done with this quest my anxiety was thru the roof
This is by far the worst and most tedious quest in the game
For real man. I thought following the scent was tedious, and then this quest pops up lol.

I agree…. Running around the same islands over and over for a scavenger hunt is so tedious. Disappointing because when you first get up there it’s so beautiful and using the glider is fun.

This quest was incomplete for a long time with only one piece of evidence missing that I couldn't find. It was the first one you showed, inside the tree trunk. Thank you very much!

Im doing this again because the game bugged on me. I just can’t ride the winds to the top of the windmill. More than an hour trying. I truly hate this quest.

Thanks so much for this video! I had a bug. I had all the items, but the quest wouldn't update for me until I followed your route in one go, and then it finally let me turn it in. Whew! What a chore. I hope this works for anyone else who has had this glitch. Thanks again!
Oh gosh! Thank you! It turns out that I missed the very first two you showed and thanks to your vid I was able to go directly back to the start and find them without wandering aimlessly or traversing a lot of ground.

And it turns out it was the very **first** one you looked at...........
The best place to hide is at plain sight as they say.

I don’t have a wind stream there at all so I can’t get number 8. Am I missing a step?
i have the same problem i was told i need 10 silver eggs to activate it and i have 15 but it still doesn't work

@@brookeb.1476I had the same problem but just figured out that u have to do the food source quest first then after u talk to zeki and then it starts that fan to the last island

I got a little bit nauseous when you fast forwarded and it was kind of hard to keep up with you. But thanks for the information. I don't think I ever would have found that last one on the very top of that tower. Navigating those Windstream's to get on top of that Tower is a pain in the butt

Thank you! I've tried looking at some other walk throughs on websites that just describe the locations but none of them described the correct locations (and also clearly all copied from the same place without checking the vailidity to the actual game).
I found the same issue, there is no map, you can’t just circle and explain where they are, walkthroughs I find are much simpler and to the point - plus you can follow on easily

When I first completed this quest I wasn't able to find all of these or if I did I messed them up. Now your video helped me a lot when I returned to finish. I only needed 4 more to finish. I also took photos about them so I can tell them the proper information this time 😂

I cannot for the life of my catch the wind to get to the top of the wind turbine for 487! I’m jumping right into the wind and using my sail but the wind doesn’t take me up like it’s supposed to! 😭😭

it turns out to get there you don't have to press W. just jump and let the wind take you then hold W.

This was an amazing tutorial, quick and to the point, thank you!
This whole area was so hard because there were too many sub-quests at a time and you had to finish part before unlocking another part and it wasn't always clear what you were even supposed to be doing. Plus some people had straight up bugs! I'm almost done except for 2 of these notes and 3 of the treasures.

You may just need to talk to her to finish the quest, it’s a pretty common bug - even if there is no quest marker above her head

wht do you do when you cant get over to the last evidence? the thing that blows you over is deactivated for me?
Also had a bug occur where my quest log wouldn't update, saying only 3/4 and 2/4 collected when I had them all.... It also only showed Caleri had hers able to be turned in even with them 'missing', but I was still able to turn it in to Elouisa as well.

If I remember correctly you need to gather all of the eggs first and also the cloud minnows from the fishing ponds.

yeah i had mentioned that to some people and it fixed their issues
this quest was easy, i mean all in all didnt take me more then 30min or so for all steps except had to come to this video as i forgot the final clue.. :D

I can’t get to the last one that’s across from where zeki & elouisa are standing because I don’t have a current to glide over. Can you tell me how to turn that current on? 4:01
I was dumb for a long time, but here is the answer: all portals on the neighboring three islands need to be active. Most likely one of the portals is not activated. Look for the purple glowing circular platforms on the neighboring islands (not the central one!).

The air vent on the main island will work after you complete another part of the quests

I can’t fly to the island where the last note is because there’s no wind turbine.. is it a glitch? I’m playing on the switch :(
You also need to collect 10/15 silver wing eggs and put them in the nest (I gave a video about the eggs aswell)

okay but how do we stay in the diagonal currents when rock-hopping? For whatever reason, I don’t travel upwards with the air and never make it.

It would be nice if there was at least a faint beacon of light so that you know where they are, it's just a matter of getting to them.

this is horrible. I cannot catch the gust of wind that crosses into the second gust near the green egg. It simply isnt working
I had some problem with some gust of wind, I had to let go of the forward button to properly catch it

did you speak to one of the twins afterwards? sometimes it bugs and they dont have a quest icon above their head but you can still hand in the mission
