    potatoes were apparently brought over to Jamaica by the Irish immigrants. hence 'irish potatoes

    I when to Bryce Primary School with some kids who was living in Silent Hill I still remember those school days walking from Dobson I used to look over at the banana spray planes over at Silent Hill......I even knew a Cherry White......I missed those days sweet Jamaica.

    Irish potatoes was a stable food for the Irish people in Ireland that is where it was originally came from..cypru potatoes is from Cyprus

    our irish potatoes are a sweet dessert made from sugar and shredded coconut and some kinda cream.cream cheese i think.lol. I love chicken too!

    No sweetheart. The red clay soil is just what it is, "Clay". Certain vegetable's roots need a lot of oxygen. Red clay soil doesn't carry oxygen well. So high nitrogen plants like tomatoes and many other things can't grow in it. You MAY be able to grow them but that means you will have to till that soil everyday til u blind to air it. The best thing to do is mix your soil with perlite or sand. That soil is only good for root vegetables.
