This is one of my favourite songs, period. Love the Paultin inspiration very much. Even though the song isn't really about Paultin and was inspired by an out of body experience that Nate had, it still fits Paultin especially after the Ring of Winter Arc.
I love how this song made a trend out of Nate's two albums (a good trend), with both albums ending with a song so vastly different from the rest of the album (with Sandcastle Kingdoms being the last track of Sandcastle Kingdoms), it gives the album a whole new freshness and taste before sending it off. I love it!

I love this song so much!!! It really reminds my of my struggle with OCD. Both the lyrics and the overall emotions just describe what I felt to a T. When the song came out I was hospitalised in a psychiatric ward (open butt still) and the song almost made me cry!!! It’s amazing hearing it now and realising how far I’ve come! Plus it’s based on Paultins experience with the ring of winter and he’s my favourite dca character!!!
This has been my favourite song since the album came out, this is now one of my favourite music videos. It was so beautifully filmed and edited, Nate’s acting and facial expressions were so perfect. This is genuinely a truly amazing video and I’m so proud of Nate for how much he’s grown.

I just love the hints in Paid in Exposure. Bones, clearly heavy hints to Paultin. This is clearly the Ring of Winter Arc. The Wrecked and the Worried has also hinted to him. Alone his puppet Strix had made, the Necklace he's wearing, same as he's wearing here, with Evelyn family ring and gear. And other Songs that may be linked to D&D and Paultin in specific. Could be a coincidence but it fits: Smoke and Guns ("You've got me slipping through your fingers like I'm made of sand ") Phantom (Chris quoted lines in Dice Camera Action)

This song, in particular, is about his D&D character. Paultin got his mind controlled by the "Ring of Winter" and became the bad guy for a whole arc. His friend had to sneak up and cut off his finger with scissors to save him 😵☠☠

That is a good theory. I feel like the whole album is one big story about the rise and fall of fame so maybe the music videos are panting that picture for us to see. I look at it like this Until The Wolfs Come Out is the beginning of a man having fun with his life and music and is discovered by fame and then we end with Bones a broken shell (No pun intended) of a man who has seen everything fame has to offer but also has seen the consequents of fame and is not himself anymore and is desperate to fix everything and to get life back to normal but sees that nothing will ever be normal again in the end. Well, that's just my take on it anyway.

This song, in particular, is about his D&D character. Paultin got his mind controlled by the "Ring of Winter" and became the bad guy for a whole arc. His friend had to sneak up and cut off his finger with scissors to save him 😵☠☠

That is a good theory. I feel like the whole album is one big story about the rise and fall of fame so maybe the music videos are panting that picture for us to see.
I look at it like this Until The Wolfs Come Out is the beginning of a man having fun with his life and music and is discovered by fame and then we end with Bones a broken shell (No pun intended) of a man who has seen everything fame has to offer but also has seen the consequents of fame and is not himself anymore and is desperate to fix everything and to get life back to normal but sees that nothing will ever be normal again in the end. Well, that's just my take on it anyway.
