P&H fixed a problem that didn't exist and, in the proces, made a more trouble-prone configuration. Mark is (or at least was) a P&H paddler so he has to "justify" the new design. I'll stick with Valley boats at this point.
OK, Great :) now can you show the knot used to tie the cord to the skeg. i had to replace my skeg and am struggling a bit with a suitable knot.
From what I've heard, the earlier P&H skegs *were* a problem. The one on my new Cetus HV works smooth as silk, even with gloves on.
