Beautiful beautiful pages - so inspiring! It makes me laugh when you critique your early colouring, I wish I could colour half as good as that!! Keep sharing, you make all our colour journeys so much more enjoyable!! ❤
Wow all your pages are absolutely stunning. This is making me want to colour in one of my Mythographic books. I have 4 but ive never coloured in any of them because I'm too scared 😂
Wow! You are amazing and I’m sooooo glad I found your channel. I can’t wait to spend some time looking at your videos and learning the different mediums you use. They are all beautiful! Thank you for sharing your talent and your creativity!
Oops, commented on the wrong video! Sorry. Lovely pages, you are a superb colorist. Now that you mention Kenya being back home I can place your accent. I've got friends from Kenya and recognize the inflections. Always love your videos.
Love your pages and color choices, and these Mythographic pages really suit your style! I too have been wanting to get to that page with a ladybug in Magical Earth, I always stop on it when I'm flipping through my copy. Perhaps we could do a buddy color to finally tackle it together?
Thank you so much, so glad you like my pages. I have a few buddies setup for August which is a lot for me as I take so much time to colour a single page. If you think you would be ok for aiming to finish is for end of September, then I might be able to do it 🤗💗
If it helps I recently did honey on the title page of the summer book.. and I added some Sakura clear glaze pen.. it really looks great, very realistic and sets it off just enough from the other elements without it being super obvious. If you have never used it before be sure to tip the page to the light a bit while applying so you can see it better when wet, being clear it's quite difficult to see if it's on evenly without the shine, but it's obvious if you miss spots once it dries and it doesn't layer on for a second coat as well as if you just get it smooth the first time. I love the clear pen, I've bought a couple for backup.. I use it on glass, water, eyes, mirrors, etc. Anything wet or shiny.
When you base with the tombow dual brush pants and go over them with the Albret pencils, do you only use the pencils dry over the Tombo or do you activate with water the pencils on top of the Tombo ink?
I have Dream Weaver and yessss it is such a challenging book. Can’f believe that is the first coloring book i bought, what was i thinking 🤔 but i love it. Done 3 or 4 in it yet and planning on doing it from cover to cover. I get so lost in figuring what is what i😂
Ooohhh, now because of that video, I had to tag some illustrations in my own mythographic to follow your colour along I fell in love for 😅 so don't go any faster ! 😂😂
When I first started colouring in these books, there weren’t any images on line to use as reference for ideas. I’m like you have many, but colour pages in order until I finish the book. Now of course there are many online. 😂
I especially love seeing your finished pages from the Mythographic books because they're my favorite books! I have every Mythographic book that's been released so far, and I have the pre-ordered the new releases that haven't been released yet because my hubby bought me all of the ones I was missing last Christmas, and he also said that he would start buying me all of the new releases if I wanted to collect all of the books, so of course I said yes! The only one I haven't pre-ordered yet is Dragonspell since it will be a while before it's released! The Mythographic books can be very intimidating and sometimes it's hard to tell what's what in the images, so it really helps me to see your finished pages. You also taught me that doing the background first can help you to see the image more clearly and that's definitely helped a lot! I also collect Hanna Karlzon books but I'm still missing a few of them, and of course I have to buy all of Melpomeni Chatzipanagiotou books as well! But I just wanted to tell you that all of your finished pages are beautifully done, as always! Thank you for sharing!❤😊
Thank you so much!! I feel the love for Mythographics. So awesome that you have the full collection. Totally worth it with these books for sure! I can’t wait for Melpomeni’s next book and of course I do adore Hanna Karlzon too! Still have 2 of her latest books to get and then the one that is to be released soon 🤗💗
@@shelscolouringjourney You're very welcome! I'm just curious, do you think you might do any more color alongs in the new book by Lalita Iyer called Enchanted Creatures? I'm loving that book as well!
I have always found water a challenge…so hard to make it look realistic. Usually I just make the water look like a child’s illustration 😂 so this was definitely a challenge 💗
I could only dream of coloring like you! You do these pages so well! 😊 I plan on buying my first mythographic soon! (wild summer)
Wow that penguins page 🎉 love it. And the red panda!

Beautiful pages.
Thanks so much! 🤗💗
I actually love the "halo" effect on the space page where you missed with the distress ink... it makes everything glow. I thought it was on purpose.

What is the name of your pencils you used in most of your pages sounds like r b chute. Sorry for the spelling.
Hi😀✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️
Why did you live in Kenia?
I was born there 💗
@@shelscolouringjourney , seriously? But you are British, right? Your parents probably worked there or something, right?
I am terrified of trying a water page. I don’t think my skill level is good enough at this point.
