Every single day I have flare ups. It’s extremely embarrassing, but seeing everyone in the comments and seeing you talk about it is very comforting. Thank you so much.

It sucks. My flare ups are so bad I have to leave school some times. It’s even worse when everyone in class hears ur stomach talking 🙄

Guys i highly recommend meditation and visualizing for you! you're not stuck with your ibs and it can really help you get rid of it.
it's mostly about controling your anxiety and your thoughts, i pay attention to people having it and myself as well and you can clearly see we are full of negativity and stress.
and on top of that this situation makes it even worse!!! we have a mindset that we're stuck with it and we are going to suffer forever, obviously we don't want it but you can't stop the habit of your mind to let go of the past anxiety... like when you eat something you think of what if it irritates my bowel and guess what? it does!!!
visualize your life without ibs it get's easier for you to think of healing and getting better.well i'm still working on my path but it does work for me and i'm getting happier day by day.
so search about reprograming your mind and you'll find your way for sure.
    "sorry for my english"

I’ve watched a ton of videos about IBS and anxiety... but none of them had someone in it that literally is living my exact life. It’s easy to feel alone when you’re going through this and your family and friends don’t understand... but just know you are really helping me and I’m sure a lot of other people. I feel like I’m going crazy sometimes!

Thank you! Exercise really helps me. But I don’t do it consistently but sometimes if I do some yoga or stretching or go for a walk, it helps a lot. I’m having a flare up and I took your advice and am laying on my stomach right now and it’s really helping! Life saver

I am currently going through something similar, currently when I feel like I have to go number 2, my stomach sends a signal to my brain & then I get a weird tingly feeling in my brain & body then hot flashes then I feel like I’m going to pass out. Does anyone else have the same thing ? Is this IBS ?

Stay away from greasy foods cause if I have too much and I have an episode it's bad. Using any type of heat therapy 10 mins on and 10 mins off. This will avoid any types of burns on the skin. Make sure to wrap a bottle bottle or heating pad with a towel.

  • @nataliemarie8005

In addition to laying flat on your tummy is laying flat on a heating pad. Has saved me so many times because the warmth is really able to relax the tummy muscles. It helps so so much

I just had a terrible test because of this I didn't focus or anything and I told the teacher I needed to go to the bathroom he said no so I had an argument with him and he let me go which was extremely embarrassing .this just makes it so unfair other just pass the exam comfortably while I have to struggle for the entire 2hour and try too hard to focus . I did not focus at all and wrote whatever my anxiety was over the roof . At the end the teacher told me I had a phobia of the exam . But honestly it was just about my anxiety and my stomach, it wasn't about the exam lol . Idk how I'm gonna take any exam from now on my ibs has intensified a lot because of my anxiety.
