- My countdown of the 4 Best Waterfalls in South Carolina. South Carolina has many beautiful hiking trails and several of them lead to stunning waterfalls. Check out my list of the Best Waterfalls in South Carolina and let me know if you agree! Is there a SC Waterfall you think should have been on the list?
My choice for best waterfall hike for a family is Station Cove Falls. The other waterfalls on the list include King Creek Falls and Spoonauger Falls that can be combined and explored together in one day. The other SC Waterfall Hike is Yellow Branch Falls which is a fun hike near Walhalla, SC.

You just made my decision so much harder but even better on which parks and waterfalls to visit. I was thinking Gorges state park in NC and upper falls but now I just might do at least 3 of your beautiful waterfall choices first.

Right across the boarder in NC! Amazing waterfalls! I did a trip this past summer!
What about Brasstown falls or Twin falls? Definitely my favorite waterfalls in SC.
I need to redo my list! You are right - Brasstown should be on the list now that it has so many trail improvements! I just posted my Brasstown video!

Serious hikers will probably like Lee Falls, Rainbow Falls and Raven Cliff Falls (to the suspension bridge and unofficial trail to the side of the falls) the best. The Lee Falls hike has a fun rock scramble at the end.
Hiking from the Duke Energy Bad Creek parking lot to Upper Whitewater Falls with an optional side trip to the Lower Whitewater Falls is another option. The Lower White Falls overlook is pretty far from the waterfall.

How is the trails hiking towards yellow branch water falls? Please give me more information.
Good morning! Yellow Branch Falls is only about 3 miles roundtrip and the waterfall is amazing! The hike is easy with several bridges and stream crossings. @@northcarolinalee1441 If you go to Yellow Branch Falls you may want to check out Isaqueena Falls and Stumphouse Tunnel - they are close to Yellow Branch Falls. Oconee State Park is near this area too! Have fun!

You obviously haven't been to Lower Whitewater Falls, almost a sheer 200 ft drop or Raven Cliff Falls which is also over 100 ft.tall. Those would be my top 2 followed by King's creek that you list #1. Both of these in SC.
Actually to follow up now that I think of it Lower whitewater, Raven Cliff, Rainbow(SC) , Twin Falls (Eastatoe) and Kings Creek would be my top 5 in that order.

Yellow Branch is a fun hike, but challenging. It starts off easy, so you're easily fooled! LOL
