I graduated high school about 10 years ago (Texas), if Deion was a head coach during that time he would have gotten almost every blue chip recruit, especially on the defensive side.
Didn’t he win two or three state championships in Texas before taking the JSU job? And was thinking he was the OC. At any rate, he’s wicked smart. He’s building a staff with hard working, smart coaches that are top recruiters. He’s using media to build a recruiting machine full of hard working kids concerned about making the NFL, not NIL. It’s going to be a ride to see how it plays out. Could be boom or bust, but haven’t seen anything he does go bust yet (outside of the one school he let them use his name but had no control of what they did. He’s said that was a big mistake).
