I have been working on scooters for the past ten years. I ran a scooter shop and worked on scooters professionally for five years. I have taught many people who work on scooter shops today how to work on scooters....I know what I'm talking about. In this video I show you how to dial your scooter the professional way. I give examples of a few different sounds you might hear on your scooter while riding at the skatepark and how to fix them. One of which happens when your scooter wheels are loose, another is compression issues, another is a loose scooter brake and lastly is a scooter clamp issue(s). I do my best to explain how and why these things happen and how to fix them easily. Hopefully this will help some of you get back on your scooter at the skate park fast and get you doing more scooter tricks without having to constantly listen to your undialed scooter! Thanks Raymond, my scooter sounds great now! After I bought it almost a year ago I havnt dialed it, so it sounded bad when I got it and I rode it pretty hard this weekend and it needed dialed. I watched your video and now it sounds almost as good as yours, thanks man!

Great video on home maintenance of scooters! That said given the amount of vibration generated in riding I tend to use some Locktight Blue on screw threads to prevent them from loosening.

Raymond my scooter is all tighten and stuff but my back wheel makes a weird sound with new bearings and tighten and also it moves what wrong with my scooter

put a few washers in the axels

Dialing every compression is the same. JUst tighten the bolt lol

Harley Vlogs try putting a bit of duck tape around your wheel bolts it should fix it

Try greasing your bolts that worked for me
Just tighten the bolts up a little more than usual and if the wheels for some reason feel not at slick put wd40 or graphite on it
@@dumdumlegacy3251 wd40 will mess up the bearing a ton never use wd40 its horrible for ur scooter its a degreaser use actual grease

My root Industries scooter’s bar doesn’t come out, even after I loosened the clamp. Please help, because my wheels are crooked
Oof man. Try to unscrew the clamp (take the bolts off), step on the deck and pull as hard as you can. If it doesn't come out, well you're screwed.

will stewart not exactly sure how it works.. pretty sure you just take off the front wheel and there should be a bolt in the fork. Let me know if it helped

Wish I has this video about 3 months ago. My prodigy’s compression was over tightened, my bars and deck weren’t spinning properly. Couldn’t figure out why and I am a noob to scooters so I was afraid to pull it apart. About a week ago I decided to pull apart the head set and put it all back together and found my compression was too tight to undo by hand, so I used a rubber mallet on my Allen key undid it and did it back up just hand tight and my deck spun like butter, so smooth and so fast. So I guess in the envy factory they over tightened my compression, because that’s how it came out of the box. I still can’t tail whip but I’m a lot closer to tail whipping now, still practicing and trying to get it. This video showed the exact problem I had, only briefly when he was talking about compression, but still. Thanks Raymond, I’m a big fan! Love your vids
