My grand kids asked why I was recording and reporting rainfall. I showed them this video. My teenage granddaughter said after watching it."Grampa what you are doing is important!" She asked what she could do to help I told her invent a way that we can reverse global warming. She said she understood and that she was affraid of what will happen if something isn't done to reverse the effects of warming and fast. I'm so proud of her that she gets it.
Jacques Cousteau lamented: "We forget that the water cycle and the life cycle are one". This video serves as an effective antidote. IMO, it is one of the BEST all around educational videos addressing the water cycle. I rate it as "5 Star Edutainment". It's officially my new "Go To" resource for "water education outreach" events for all but the youngest students (K-3) where the learning objective is appropriately limited to a more simplistic understanding of the basic: Evaporation/Condensation/Precipitation.
