But I can't just take a break. I know that people's hearts are in the right place when they say that so I never get mad about it, but it can be frustrating. I'm the bread winner for the whole family. I have a lot of people to take care of by myself. There are mouths to feed, multiple people's rent to pay, and it's during a pandemic.

@@lanceta4330 then you reach a challenge beyond impossible, as you cant get by the fossils without having to pick one of them up, as it is an object that acts as a wall tile

i like that as a "stipulation" to add into these runs-- 'No Items in Combat, No Other Pkmn besides HM use, Level As Low As Possible for Blaine'; it keeps the Elite Four relevant...otherwise, if you just Over-Level your way through everything, whats the point of the Challenge?

I never grinded to serve the algorithm, I just did daily videos because I wanted too. It started off as a natural thing, I didn't even realise it was daily until a few months in, but then I just wanted to keep going because I had the time. 10 years later though and it's not so easy to find the time anymore

If sandshrew is your special boi, what do you think of the alolan version? I for one I'm a big fan of fire type Pokemon because they're the rarest of the three starter types and that's why I have always picked the fire one in all of my playthroughs ever in 25 years because the other types are too easy to come by water and grass types are everywhere and every region fire types are not sometimes fire types can't be found until almost post game unless you get a starter so I'm kind of offended that so many fire type Pokemon got alolan Orion versions that no longer make them fire type like they're trying to take away what little we have not saying the alternate versions are cute it's just kind of bothersome that they take away from a type that has so few to start with but Sandshrew starting as a ground type hence the word sand in its name being ice type instead that's a rare type but does it work for it it used to be good against fire now it's not but do the other type coverages and whatnot make up for that do the moves make up for that

For a short time I worked seasonally at home for a company that rhymes with Bamazon, and the Stadium playthrough always made me look forward to lunch on Wednesdays. We haven't seen any Gen 5 challenges, so may I suggest *Pokemon Black with only a Phione?* It's much stronger than what we usually use, so the weird Gen 5 experience system shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Dang, the comment about how the normallcy of your challenge runs helped some of through the lockdowns, and man. It really hit me how it did, you helped me stay sane and happy during some pretty dark times in my home all the way to the amazing times right now where my whole family is happy and safe in our new house. Edit: I named him “Cinnamon” as they roll up into balls. This is my way of calling sandshrew/sand slash a cinnamon roll haha
They do be lil struggling boys but it's well worth it to see them happy when you win, also cinnamon is a great name for them
