I lived "Saturday Night Fever"........ bought me a Red Italian Convertible, White Suit, plenty of "New" Oil Money in the 70's, conquered many a philly, Great Memories & The Movie "Shampoo" had nothing on me.... I lived thru it all .

I remember this song as part of my childhood growing up in the late 70s. My mom used to have the Saturday Night Fever LP and she used to play it A LOT. I remember her playing this song and listening to it now in my mid 40s, is just plain nostalgic. It really is a nice song...love the chorus.

I was turning 18 when Saturday Night Fever came out. I'm not the type to live in the past, but the music and some of the movies that came out back then were really good (Rocky, Star Wars, Aliens, etc.). I miss my friends from that time, and the hope we all had for the future.
