due to a R68 being vandalized & a Siemens R160 N Train was placed during PM RUSH which consist of set 8988-8992 & 9023-9027. Been first time seeing a R160 N since July 2022 but was a Alstom.

First the Q, then the W, and now the N
For the Q, you can catch an R160 on weekdays during the AM rush when an R goes up to 96th St

Will the r211s be assigned to the N,Q and W lines?
They should give the d train the R211s and R160 or R179 or R188
The R188 are for the A division only
This is a Coney Island bound N (egro) train, but with the bullet color of the A (sian) persua-train.

They bring the R160 back to the N line and give the R179 to the D train and get rid of the R68 cars
That's impossible because Jamaica Yard needs the R160s for CBTC. And now with all R179s and R211s on the A and C lines Eighth Avenue will be the next one to get CBTC.
Fortunately the R46s are gonna remain in service until 2025/2026 so the N, W and Q will get some R211s. But the D and B trains have to wait approximately until 2030/2035 to get new trains.
Is the R262 and the R268 coming next is the R262 going to the 1-3-6 train
The N Q and W will not get any R211 since Broadway and Astoria won’t get CBTC till the 2030s. They will get displace R160 and R68 from Jamaica and Concourse yards. Since the R211s will head to those yards by 2025.
@@ericbreedlove580the R262 will be heading to Lexington Avenue for the 4 5 6 and 42S. Since it will be getting CBTC before 7th Avenue.
