I used some five spice this week to make Lion's Mane Meatballs. Love your blend! will give it a try. I've been following Hot Thai Kitchen recipe for five spice.
I use it mostly to season the protein, like chicken or shrimp, then stir fry it. However, if you're making a vegetarian dish, you can add the vegetables and start stir frying, then sprinkle some in.
I love five-spices but have used them ready-made. Thanks for the inspiration to create my own blend. I guess it must have been difficult for you not to add any chilies at all😉🌶
What are your favorite recipes that use five spice?
I love this. I grind my own spices too. I make a lot of poultry seasonings, cajun spice mix, curry powder. I will add this to my collection. Awesome.
Awesome. I love to hear it.
Thx for the recipe!
I use 5 Spice when making Pressed Duck. Epic
Good stuff!
Happy to watch this video. It takes the mystery and complexity out of the 5 spice blending. Will make my own from now on. Cheers.
