My strategy is; buy quality companies, expect to hold no matter what, pay up but don’t over pay, keep track, sell rarely, be ready to course correct.
A lot of people think they should always be buying and selling something. That's a mistake. 99% of successful investing is waiting, learning, awareness/experience and getting extremely lucky with the market.

I didn't invest in GameStop but the fact that robin hood put a stop to this pisses me off so much, I want the CEO of Robin hood personally liable for this. I'm talking jail time and fines ( like in the millions )

There was no squeeze, they never covered their short positions. They shorted even more... if they cover their position, the stock will rise into the thousands.
FT fails to explain how "sophisticated" hedge funds utilized synthetic instruments to drive short interest to an untenable 138% (yes, I know theoretically it can go as high as 200%) Their failure to perform stress tests led to their demise. Bravo to the retail traders who are only guilty of "trading while poor."
A common thought is, “VW’s short interest was only 28%, and went that high. Imagine GME was shorted over 100%, it will be much higher”. What people fail to realize was for the VW squeeze was the short interest actually rose to about 2800% when there was only 1% left of the free float.
Given the fact GameStop itself claimed in their Q4 2020 Earnings Report, that more than 100% of the float is currently shorted, given that official sources claim 140%-200% institutional ownership, even without retail, this thing is far from over. 483$ was nothing.
In their release yesterday about the future share issue they also said to not trust the media. Bullish

Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking the bold steps we need in other to reach our goals.
I think it's not always about fear, Sometimes realistic factors discourage people from reaching their goals in life. For instance, I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value

To anyone reading the comments and believing it's finished:
It genuinely isn't.
Gamestop in a forward statement of risk assessment *warned people that an aggregate short position greater than the float may put them at risk.*
Gamestop has ZERO liability in this regard. They did NOT have to include this statement. They however, chose to identify it as the SINGLE BIGGEST risk to *any* shareholder. Is that of the short position.
There is a LOT of maths that supports this theory, that the shorts have NOT COVERED THEIR POSITION.
The current statistics about SI% of float are NOT correct.
GME very well may end up in the THOUSANDS per share.

The core of the rationale for holding GME was that the sorts were way over extended (the only way they can get out is for GameStop to go bust) so the short will need to cover (buy) the shares at a price dictated by the holders of the shares.
What has changed from pre-Jan till now?
On the Shorts side very little, it seems they have not covered at all and may have increased their short positions as they try to keep the price down to avoid being margin called.
On the GameStop side it's all good news it seems : very good Q4, new management with proven transformation success, e-commerce vision, and very healthy balance sheet. They are not going bust any time soon.
So the real question that needs to be asked is what has changed? Sorts look to be in a worse position, Longs in a better position.
Has the Squeeze Squoze? No.
