Mumbai generally is to-the-point city; no fuss given. No one has time to check skin color, 'status' yes ! Business folks are money minded, local regular people would feed you without expecting anything in return. India is largely a socialistic structure, but definitely not Mumbai.
Depends on individual.. depends on type of families... even if they visit outside mumbai.. they will meet dangerously families or groups.. who won't even care or be social. Whereas some in mumbai will be social...
Those who say their place is very different and blah blah are the ones who have never gone outside their house and touched the grass people just comment stupid things like their place came from heavem in India every city is different but not as much as you all say in the comments. It depends on individuals so why are you generalizing the whole of Mumbai's viewpoint?? It's based on individuals and not all people in Mumbai are like that and mumbai is not the only city to have these types of people.
@@XYzayant Because decisions are taken based on generalization of a place, not by going into 2 million home in every city. Like Delhi is unsafe for women, period ! Does not matter if there are lot of safe spots in the city. Keep your nuance to yourself.
I loved they way you explained.... showing beautiful buildings in Mumbai unlike other youtubers who only come for views and shows all the bad and negative stuff as much as possible... I mean it's fine, whatever they want they can show to their viewrs but they deliberately choose to show badest thing possible.. avoiding all the good things of the country!! Just a tour suggestion: India's inaugural Vande Bharat Sleeper train is going from New Delhi to Srinagar (Kashmir) on 25/26th January 2025. If you still stay in India by that time, book very early (huge demand) and you can enjoy that first time journey through the winter Himalayas, Chenab the highest rail bridge in the world and also enjoy the beauty and snowfall in the valley of Kashmir (The Switzerland of India).

It’s a region that beautifully blends culture, nature, and tranquility. If you’re into mountains, skip the clichés and explore places like Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, j&k, sikkim, meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. These regions are home to some of the most pristine and surreal landscapes, with less commercialized spots where you can actually connect with nature. many people from the Northeast have East Asian features, which is completely normal and beautiful. Also, let’s clear this up-it’s not ‘tuk-tuk’, it’s a rickshaw!
In my opinion is Mumbai is the only city where people are professional and get-to-the-point. Mumbai people are also helpful and good people. Maybe Bangalore comes close to professionalism. Mumbai is also safest city in India for women. Bangalore and Pune might come close. But anywhere else in India it is not as professional, nothing gets done, things get frustrating and it isn't as safe for women, especially in Delhi, UP, MP, etc. I personally can't handle the crowds in Mumbai but I will say it is a very unique city because the people in mumbai are different from anywhere else in India. There are also more westernised parts of Mumbai and the youth is more westernised.
You're spot on 💯 Have lived for several decades in various suburbs of Mumbai (then called Bombay) since 1978. The metropolis has changed, grown, expanded and evolved - chaotic but hospitable - the city has always welcomed strangers and made them her own. Many of the original inhabitants of Bombay have moved out to Europe, Australia, USA, Canada, South East Asia and to the Middle East (emigrated to various nations for jobs, education of children). New migrants from all over India as well as South Asia come to Mumbai - because it's the City of Dreams. Unchecked migration has made parts of the main city overcrowded and congested in the last 25 years and there's an epidemic of construction 🏗️ 🚧 everywhere you go in Mumbai (from bridges to highways to metro 🚇 subways - elevated and underground - so almost 50% of the city is dug up and will continue to be chaotic until 2030 - when many construction projects finish) But there are also quiet suburbs in Mumbai where things are unhurried. There are satellite cities of Mumbai in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (M.M.R.) - like the city of Navi Mumbai (New Bombay) where life is lived in a quiet, relaxing, unhurried pace - with wide, clean roads, footpaths, parks, planned community centers and malls, and all kinds of restaurants and outlets - under almost every apartment complex. Navi Mumbai has a bird sanctuary as well as creeks to spot flamingoes🦩 and other migratory birds. Currently even Navi Mumbai is facing a construction boom because Mumbai's second international airport - the D. B. Patil Navi Mumbai International Airport is being built and is expected to get done and operational by early 2026.
@mg9772 Not exactly. It depends on which region you're having Sambar. In Kerala, people add ground, fried coconut in it so it's going to be thick and brown in color. Every South Indian state has their own style of Sambar , some makes it watery and some makes it thick. Personally, I like it thick because you can easily mix it with Rice, Dosa or Idli than a watery Sambar.
Mumbai is the Financial capital of India... People generally don't pay attention to others as they are always in a hurry for one reason or another... But it's full of life and excitement😊
YT : Downfall warning ⚠️ ⚠️ TH-camr : haha time to visit india...😂 Prediction : this video is now go viral...and indians in comments oohh..!! Pls come to kerala,Tamil Nadu, ladakh 😂😂

Hi I'm an ethnic Chinese and India has been on my bucket list for a long time, esp Delhi and Varanasi. I'm a retired senior male, keen amateur photographer esp of street photography. What's holding me back is security as a Chinese will I be discriminated against in public places like the markets, trains, streets etc? Because of the geopolitical tension between India &China, will my safety be in danger? Thank you.
Good to see atleast you are showing us the normal side of Mumbai like I used to live.. unlike some vloggers who only show slums, cheap ass filthy street food . These guys want to spend 25$ on a burger back home and here want to eat for atleast 10 days with the same amount 😋
So happy you like Mumbai! I'm a South Indian living in Mumbai, and I'm glad you liked our idli. Also, just to point out, 13:53 you had sambhar yesterday with idli during your tour.😂
Since you are india my suggestion is to explore sites of indian culture like ancient temples, forts etc. Which are indegenous to india. Churches you can find in your country also amd many other country.
What's your approach to eating and drinking in Mumbai in regards to food poisoning? For example, would you have 14 cent chai at a place your tour guide didn't suggest?
I still would have, yes :) that place only sold chai and is popular so there is high turnover. That means they likely are making fresh batches often. I was a little nervous before my trip though, can’t lie! I ended up totally fine and I’m going to make a video about my experience as well as some Mumbai travel tips, so I’ll talk a bit more about food in that video!
@WorldwideWu yes thanks! I think about high turnover for meats in Mexico but I know that drinks that aren't boiled such as fruit drinks could use unclean water. I guess chai is steaming so it's safer!
I liked the way you named your channel a play of words with your name and travel WU 😊👍. People from Bombay love New York. Currently I live in Arizona, but Love New York , San Francisco and Chicago. Most of my entire relatives are from Bombay. And friends and family who are from Bombay just love the Energy and Vibrancy of New York. Talking about also not being stared at in Mumbai is because a lot of North East Indians look very similar to South East Asians. Also in recent years , I would say this with a little annoyance and anger , that rest of India is finally giving respect to our Brothers and Sisters from North East India. I say this with anger and annoyance is because it should never taken our country so long to assimiliate residents of North East India. And it’s a whole different beautiful country and states there. But a lot of them are also traveling West and North into the country so you may not be looking unique to them any more. There’s so much to Bombay I could go on. Recent years the whole city is undergoing a renovation so all the more chaos everywhere across the city , hopefully after 5 to 7 years it settles down after all the new projects like the Sea Route and freeway constructions get completed including the metro and subway projects.
Love your travel vlogs and specifically loved the editing of this one. 🪷 I recently watched your series on Guatemala - my partner and I are planning a trip in January!

Heya. I'll be in Mumbai in Feb 2025. This will be my first time in Mumbai and 2nd trip to India. Anyone here from Mumbai willing to be my local guide. Hoping to just experience Mumbai like a local 😊
Not a guide here but in mumbai i suggest- don’t travel in train at rush hours in evening from 6pm to 9.30 pm ! Cabs are useless here because of traffic and you will get irritated by unnecessary honking 😅Elephanta caves are average to watch and mostly broken instead Visit UNESCO heritage sites in maharashtra like ajanta and ellora caves ( wall paintaings) and kailasa temple ! Mumbai is a city and there is nothing touristy here ! I am born in mumbai and live here since 30 years but what we do here is same in every country 😂 we work like machines and chill at beaches and watch sunset on weekends. Our Street food is hygeinic compared to rest of india! To watch most tourist places in mumbai in one day - book mumbai darshan bus . It takes tourist to all famous insta worthy spots of the city ! You can watch the city and also the marine drive sitting at open roof bus double floor !
BTW..Mumbai has world's third largest number of billionaires after NYC and London and also Asia's biggest slum. Talk about diversity, inequality and opportunity.
This was amazing, and your guide showed you some good spots. Mumbai is a city that never sleeps and it's one of the safest cities in the country. You can roam around the beach or the coastline at 2am without having to think about getting creeped on. I don't know why people go to Delhi. It's a sh*thole.
We Bangladeshis respect our Indian brothers Don't judge us We are under military rule Hopefully india and trump will fix it We Bangladeshis protest on roads 😢 Don't abandon us

Most Mumbai locals have probably been to a few places around the world.
Only place you get stared at is where you see Indian country side tourists.

Mumbai is one of mostly lively because of its people and has very positive and friendly vibes even when people are in rush .My favourite city forever.
Kinda off topic but no one calls auto rickshaws "tuk tuk" in mumbai. Hope you enjoyed your time here!

Unchecked migration has made parts of the main city overcrowded and congested in the last 25 years and there's an epidemic of construction 🏗️ 🚧 everywhere you go in Mumbai (from bridges to highways to metro 🚇 subways - elevated and underground - so almost 50% of the city is dug up and will continue to be chaotic until 2030 - when many construction projects finish)
But there are also quiet suburbs in Mumbai where things are unhurried.
Sambar is not a soup; it is a curry we usually eat with Idly, Dosa, Vada, or Rice.
But it is still kinda like lentil soup
@mg9772 Not exactly. It depends on which region you're having Sambar. In Kerala, people add ground, fried coconut in it so it's going to be thick and brown in color. Every South Indian state has their own style of Sambar , some makes it watery and some makes it thick. Personally, I like it thick because you can easily mix it with Rice, Dosa or Idli than a watery Sambar.
Nope sambhar is soup just like dal. It’s a lentil based soup

Thank you.
Nice. Love from Guwahati, Assam. Do visit this beautiful part of India known as Northeast India 💕💕🩷🩷🎄🎄
😍gr8 vid !
I’m a South Indian, but will always choose Mumbai over Delhi
Good to see atleast you are showing us the normal side of Mumbai like I used to live.. unlike some vloggers who only show slums, cheap ass filthy street food . These guys want to spend 25$ on a burger back home and here want to eat for atleast 10 days with the same amount 😋
You have some how beautiful Northeast features and Mumbai is the safest also I'll recommend you to research about North East 7 sisters states❤❤❤❤
So happy you like Mumbai! I'm a South Indian living in Mumbai, and I'm glad you liked our idli. Also, just to point out, 13:53 you had sambhar yesterday with idli during your tour.😂
Please visit Southern India, Goa , Lakshadweep Islands and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
You should go to dalal street. Mumbai have Asia's first & historical stock exchange

Since you are india my suggestion is to explore sites of indian culture like ancient temples, forts etc. Which are indegenous to india. Churches you can find in your country also amd many other country.
And Eat some healthy Indian street food 🌚🤭
7:34 omg stop this is the cutest lol
❤️🥰
Recent years the whole city is undergoing a renovation so all the more chaos everywhere across the city , hopefully after 5 to 7 years it settles down after all the new projects like the Sea Route and freeway constructions get completed including the metro and subway projects.
must try cafe, Mary Lodge by Subko. it"s in Bandra west. just google the name.

I learned much later in life that we have to make reservations to eat at restaurants abroad 😭😭😭. In India we just enter and eat
@@ramie21 I relate to that!!
Guys,
India is not 🗿stone age.
It's not tuk tuk - it's Autorickshaw 🛺.
India is not ghost town - chaotic means live in human.
Thanks for Coming to My Nation 🇮🇳🥺⭐

Glad! If you're visiting Bangalore, please let me know. Have a happy trip.
@@RonyReddy-pn2ls I'm actually starting my journey in Bangalore, before I head to Kochi and Mumbai.
@The292977 OH okay! Bangalore is really good, hope you like it. Have a wonderful stay here. If you need anything, please let me know.
Exactly from which country you are? You seem to be South Korean!
In few years like 2030 - 35 Mumbai himself biggest economy than whole South Korea 😊
Nice video
BTW..Mumbai has world's third largest number of billionaires after NYC and London and also Asia's biggest slum. Talk about diversity, inequality and opportunity.
This was amazing, and your guide showed you some good spots. Mumbai is a city that never sleeps and it's one of the safest cities in the country. You can roam around the beach or the coastline at 2am without having to think about getting creeped on. I don't know why people go to Delhi. It's a sh*thole.
Try visiting Kerala and Goa. Ladakh is good for mountains.
We Bangladeshis respect our Indian brothers
Don't judge us
We are under military rule
Hopefully india and trump will fix it
We Bangladeshis protest on roads 😢
Don't abandon us
