I totally agree. His (and Ravn's too imo) sing-rapping is like my favorite in kpop. Like not full on rap (although I like that too!), but when he does that almost speaking tone rap is so nice and I hope they don't transition him to a vocalist completely. Contrarily, a part of me also wishes we could hear Seoho rap more too but he is pretty much the *main* main vocal so that's probably not going to happen lol.

BUT ALSO the song is Black Mirror and there are many theories in computer science where the device is called a black box and the user cannot see inside, just what it displays. Therefore the screen is the Black Mirror. Also, for more obvious reasons, when the screen is off, you see yourself. As a software engineer, I’m just nerding out.
the pinstripe suit on Youngjo is EVERYTHING to me, like I immediately dropped everything and preordered both vers after his solo teaser dropped ㅠㅠ I was waiting for the highlight medley but as soon as I saw that suit it was over, and I'm not even Youngjo biased :')

Yes, all their tracks are finally released today! 'Black Mirror' deserves SOTY definitely!!! Your favourite 'Outro: Connect with Us' is now a full song, and it sounds so great!!! The song 'Polarity' is nice too and sounds crazy because it's made by Ravn in 2 days! There's another new Cosmic song in the album which is 'Happy Birthday'~ 'Valkyrie' is always the best debut song and now there's a rock version which ONEWE's Kanghyun was involved in making the guitar sound, I luv it so much! All in all, Binary Code is the best album to me and ONEUS never have bad songs.

While this is a new sound for them, some aspects of it reminded me of previous songs of theirs which helped it not feel completely disconnected from the rest of their discography if that makes sense (though tbh even if it was completely different, they'd still pull it off because it's Oneus XD). The structure of 'Black Mirror' was reminiscent of 'Valkyrie' imo in the sense that there was a built up prechorus that dropped at a chorus with a handful of syllables, and additionally the way the non-traditional rap layout was spread throughout the song (such as at the end when Seoho says "Please stop, black mirror" and it leads right to Leedo's rap). The sound of it, while definitely more disco/retro/funky than their other songs, had similar vibes 'What You Doing' and 'Bbussyeo' - like they all sound kinda bouncy/spunky. Also, the question I desperately need an answer to is whether or not Yonghoon did the whistles here again like in 'Bingbing' and 'A Song Written Easily'. I wonder if he's managed to show his talent some more XD

My most favorite track from their previous album is "What You Doing?" which is also a disco song and damn, I genuinely love love that song like I can't get enough of it and I'm still listening to it these days. Then boom!!! They comeback with a funky disco one. THIS IS MY MOST FAVORITE COMEBACK OF THEM with that MJ inspired move. It just my taste.

This is a really awesome performance. What I find it reminds me of with the lights and the Michael references is Chung Ha's Dream of You. I agree that this is very different from their previous MVs. Pretty much everything else (well not Song Written Easily or BBushyo) could be fit into their mythic story whether it was really intended that way, and this just doesn't.

Much more like it. Personally I thought No Diggity was an unlistenable mess. A collection of bits pretending to be a cohesive song. This however is great. Funky, tuneful and with an actual melody! Hurrah!
