Wow!! How delightful Colchester is! It's an absolutely splendid city to reside in, isn't it? And why couldn't it be my home as well? Congratulations on this jolly good documentary!
Well you just taught me a few things I didn’t know having lived around the area for over 50 years. Well done and all the best for whatever your future holds.
Very much enjoyed this. Congratulations on a well produced, interesting mini documentary. Thank you and good luck with your course and future productions.
My home town i haven't lived there for 26 yrs, i remember the days of the Bakers Arms on Magdalen St. I lived all over kinda grew up on Greenstead est, lived in a squat at the bottom of Hythe Hill above the then Universal Tyres, i would imagine i wouldn't recognise the place nowadays
I was born in Colchester, I still have the old local accent (I'm almost 70) not the modern version. Excellent video, so nice to see the from viewpoint of an overseas visitor. I moved away in 1990 and have not been back since 2013. I now live in France and have done for over twelve years.
I have just watched this video because I'm visiting for a weekend in March 2022. I was born in Colchester Sept 1951. A few months later my mother & father moved after he left the Army, I have neve been back until now.

What a great little film!
I have lived here for 63 years and couldn’t have put it better myself.
Good luck for the future.
So refreshing to see Colchester through fresh eyes. Thank you. Wishing you a promising and amazing future x
Really enjoyed that. Maybe you can update it in the future to include the Northern Gateway and the fantastic new Colchester Rugby Club facility.

I love this film, you have made such a great job of it and it shows the town in such a positive light which is rarely seen. I feel proud 😊
