Im with you on this. I originally gave a like but after 6 months of listening to explanations I dropped the like and nolonger care what homeskillet has to say.
I agree it needs to stop but until the eyes of those he is speaking to are truly open and they are awake to reality we have to slowly ease them out of their falsehoods if you bombard them it just pushes them further away from the truth
I have friends and family with mentally disabled kids and when you have a mentally disabled child you have to take your time and be patient getting them adapted to the world it can be frustrating and angering at times but eventually everyone learns we must be kind compassionate and loving but also like Tom says Freedom Doesn't Fear Violence

Regardless of which political side you stand, I think we can collectively say what unfolded in Pennsylvania was abhorrent and innocent people sadly paid the price, my thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected. Much love to you all.
I watched that earlier- there are many that reacted like Nova, even tears when she was explaining why she cried yesterday- the insanity and scary situation this has all become. As a mom who wonders about the future for her three kids, I got a little choked up as she was saying it and tearing up again- so many aspects of society had me worried about my kids_ I am at the point I don’t even want them to go off to college.
I hope that things will get better. To be honest, over the last few months I've felt that there are forces, in the form of young people and artists, that are moving us towards light, towards a center where we can start recognizing the humanity in each other

I watched the video Tom and Nova did about the making of this. It was his response to all the stuff being said on X/ Twitter. It doesnt matter if the shooter was left . He could have on the right but totally against Trump ( they do exist) and convinced by the msm ,that is blatantly left , and have been screaming Trump was Hitler incarnate since 2016. Someone from either side could have done this. Either way, I think the left is responsible and I think that was what Tom was saying when referring to the left trying to turn Trump into Kennedy. Tom didnt "jump on this tragedy to make a buck" as some claim. And what does him being Canadian have to do with it? He loves this country so much he became a citizen. This is his heart, and gut raw anger at what the politics have become. Tom has said many, many times writing songs, even political , are therapy for him. Personally I would rather have this Tom than the one that he was probably fighting before he decided to write it. Because look what he gave us.
The facts as we know them now are that the guy registered as a republican in January of this year, in order to vote against Trump in the republican primary. He has also donated to the democrat party.

Antifa actually encourages democrats to do this in order to select a weaker candidate on the opposing side, thereby making it easier for their side to win. No, we need to hear reasoned voices. Our problem at the moment is that we fail to see each other as human beings. What happened was terrible, especially that someone died. But hating on people on the other side of the political divide is only polarizing us further. We are all human beings and we need to start treating each other with respect or this world is going to become a living hell. I understand that people are angry. I'm as liberal as it gets and guess what, I'm angry, too. This isn't the America I want to live in where people kill people just because they disagree with them. Trumps regular SS detail was given the day off. Jill Biden needed some extra help at her party. DEI hires filling in on the SS detail. No Drones in the air. The Police officer after climbing up and seeing the shooter dropped down instead of engaging, and the SS lost track of him for questioning. They claim they didn't put a detail on that building because the slope was deemed unsafe, yet the SS sniper that took out the gunman (who watching the gunman and waited until after he fired) That SS sniper was on a building with a sloped roof. So many more issues, like they claimed the gunman acted alone but they claim they couldn't get into his phone. How did they know he acted alone then? Yeah... RIIIIIIGHT.
