Recently my daughter came across some information about the moment of conception, there is scientific proof that there is a tiny flash of light at the exact moment of conception. When Jesus was resurrected there was a unique flash of light, that flash at the point of Resurrection is how the image was imprinted into the cloth. Our God is an awesome God!

    • @mrgreyman3358

The conception flash is proven quite well.
There is no way to know if that flash happened at resurrection.
Sadly, the scientific community was too restricted in their ability to gather real and enough evidence to be able to prove beyond doubt that it is the actual shroud of Christ.
I believe it is quite possible that it could be Christ's shroud, but we can't prove it, due to interference by some people.

I was privileged enough to see the Turin shroud close up back in 2014 when I visited family in Turin. I remember looking down at it and wondering whether it was, in actual fact, authentic or not. There had been lots of talk in the press about how it was a fake and I didn't know what to think or believe. I now know, thanks to this excellent and well researched information, that I indeed did look down upon the imprinted image of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. When listening to the explanation of the 372 lashes, as well as the other horrendous wounds imprinted on the shroud, it made me realise more intensely just how much he endured and suffered for our sakes. I never want to take his tremendous suffering and death for granted.

The pope needs to understand that it is by faith alone in Christ alone that anyone is saved, and no one is without sin, no not even one. His arrogance to think that he can declare or deny someone to be declared a saint flies directly in the face of God. Yes the catholic church does good things from time to time on earth, but you will find the same among satanists and any other grouping you can imagine. Good works does not impress God. Good works should be done in obedience to God because of your faith in Christ and not as an attempt to convince God that you're good enough to deserve His grace. The blood patterns cannot be authentic. They demonstrate two contradictory positions held simultaneously by a dead body. One with the arms crossed, one with them held straight up. It has been carbon dated to the 1200-1300's. The style of cloth is first seen in medieval France. The Shroud of Turin can be traced back to...1350's in France. The artist admitted it was a fake. Pope clementine VII admitted it was a fake. It is impossible for it to be real and embarrassing to Christianity for Christians to accept it.

Well done Alan for clarifying points made for better understanding. Jesus endured a a totally agonising death, brutally beaten and whipped before crucifixion, and crown of thorns pushed into his skull by strong roman soldiers, 2 beatings before crucifixion. When you think hard about what Jesus went through it is totally horrific to think too deeply on for too long all that He suffered. Love you Jesus is not enough to say. My husband was a Catholic but he never told any of his coworkers what his religion was, he kept it private. They talked about Ray being chosen for the STURP team. Ray told my husband that he had a dream where an angel appeared to him and told him that God didn’t want him to prove that the Shroud is really the Burial Shroud of Jesus because He wanted people to believe it by Faith alone. When my husband was dying from cancer, his coworkers thought they needed to talk to him about God and they were afraid he wouldn’t have a good funeral and that he would die an atheist too. My husband had a beautiful full Church funeral with a beautiful choir and it couldn’t have been any better. They were very surprised. Many years ago the Catholic Church had come out with a proclamation that all of the Catholic people who worked in the Defense Industry should quit but both my dad a WWII Navy veteran and my husband didn’t quit their jobs or stop being Catholics either because they believed that a strong country with great defense was a safe country. We have always believed that the Shroud was the authentic burial shroud of Jesus Christ. They carbon dated a piece of cotton that was a patched area. I saw the picture of it in National Geographic decades ago. I didn't need
to hear the collected proof of all the experts. Through The Spirit, I just
knew that He had left it.
I can't look at it without feeling that He Is standing right by me, and without
opening His eyes, sees into my life, and knows everything I am thinking,
and everything that I have ever done, and patiently waits for me to be more

I have been in lectures regarding this. I studied in Faith Bible Institute and the last lecture in our 3 year study. And boy was fascinating! It is a Baptist driven course so hearing Pastor John Yates speak on the shroud was amazing to me. A point that he made rang really true. I believe it to have been used for Christ. Pastor Yates pointed out that no matter our opinion of this artifact, our salvation, my salvation does NOT spin on the authenticity of the shroud. Even if the shroud is not Christ's, it shows what Christ went through.
Years ago I watched a show on the shroud. The archeologists shared that they tested the pollen. It showed pollen that only came from Israel, in the area around Jerusalem. It really nailed the whole the authenticity of the shroud. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. God bless, we'll meet in glory.

I read a couple of comments about how that face on the shroud looks normal. As a personal experience I had a motorcycle accident with a car when I was 18 years old. It was a frontal accident and I hit the windshield head on and suffer multiple cuts in my face, forehead and neck. While at the hospital I had a glimpse of my face and was swollen and deformed for all the cuts that I suffer. The Lord Jesus’s face would’ve look the same as mine when I had the accident or worse, so definitely there’s something being held back or ignored. When the Lord died he was fully God and fully human. That’s why he died. Even after the resurrection he carried the wounds of his torture. So, why the face doesn’t look disfigured while he was buried? Something to think about. The witness of the Lord is are the Scriptures, we don’t need the now or never. Just being honest and truthful to the Word of God.

Zero doubt. The shroud displays scientific evidences from the multitude of scientists from so many disciplines who have studied it who themselves were not all believers but what these experts in their fields found corroborated the authenticity that this was historically what it was claimed to be - the cloth of a crucified man of that period, but more than that - it is a cloth with unexplainable properties especially regarding the light that must have produced the negative (which to me can only be answered as being supernaturally imaged) with so much light that it cannot be replicated by mankind 2000 years later !!! And all the evidence points to it being the Christ. I thank these gentlemen (who did not even touch the surface in this video due to time restraints) as far as covering many more evidences.

I’m overjoyed if anyone comes to a true faith in Jesus as Savior, but it is best not to base one’s faith on an earthly object, not even if it’s something that might have touched Jesus.
Our faith should be based on His supernatural act of payment for our sins. He accomplished for us what no other human was capable of doing because Jesus was both fully human and fully God while he had an earthly body. Faith is the conviction of things unseen. (Hebrews 11:1-3)
This cloth could not have been something that ever came close to the body of Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ. His body was wrapped in multiple strips of linen, not a single, large piece of cloth. A single cloth may have been lain on top of his wrapped body, but that would not explain the stains on this shroud. His blood could not have stained an outer cloth so intensely.
For one thing, His body had been cleaned before being wrapped. Even though it was done hastily, it WAS done. There’s no way they would have missed that big blood stain on the forehead, let alone the hundreds all over the body. For another, bodies stop bleeding after death. Whatever blood was still in His body wasn’t leaking out with enough force and quantity to fully seep through the linen strips and leave stains on an outer cloth like those seen on the shroud of Turin.
More than any other factor, what really clinches it for me is that the scriptures clearly describe the way Jesus’ body was prepared for burial. Nothing like this shroud is mentioned as being wrapped around his body. Any “evidence” that contradicts scripture cannot be considered trustworthy. I watched the entire video, waiting for them to address this contradiction of linen strips vs. a single cloth. They never did.
This shroud may have indeed wrapped a crucified body, but it could not have been the body of Jesus of Nazareth.
GotQuestions explains it better than I can…
“Luke 24:12 mentions ‘the strips of linen.’ These same strips (plural) are mentioned twice in John 20:5-6. And John 20:7 says there was a ‘cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head.’ This description of the actual burial clothes - ‘strips’ of linen, rather than one large piece; and a separate cloth to cover the head - seems to negate the claim that the Shroud of Turin is the burial shroud of Christ.”

he Shroud of Turin promotes Catholicism
The Shroud of Turin is indeed associated with Catholicism, primarily because it has been housed in the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Turin, Italy, under the care of the Catholic Church since 1578. The Catholic Church has historically recognized the shroud as a significant relic and has allowed its veneration by believers.
For some Catholics, the Shroud of Turin holds spiritual significance and can strengthen their faith by providing a tangible connection to the events of Jesus Christ's crucifixion and resurrection. It has been venerated by many Catholics as a symbol of Christ's suffering and sacrifice.
However, it's essential to recognize that while the shroud may promote Catholicism for some believers, its significance is not limited to Catholicism alone. Other Christian denominations and even people of other faiths or no religious affiliation may find the shroud intriguing or meaningful in various ways.
Ultimately, the promotion of Catholicism by the Shroud of Turin depends on individual interpretations and beliefs. While the Catholic Church has historically supported the veneration of the shroud, its impact on promoting Catholicism may vary among different individuals and communities.

John 19:40 states, "Then they took the body of Jesus, and bound it in strips of linen with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury."
This "shroud" is one long piece, which conflicts with scripture. This is not Jesus' body.

@@jedimasterham2 Satan was laying the foundation for every system of falsehood and error the world has ever known. They took the truth of Yahweh and turned it into a lie and "worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator." Romans 1:25. This system of paganism, while professing to be the true religion, is actually Satan worship. It professes and claims to be the truth of Gd but in reality it is Satan's masterpiece, the “mystery of iniquity.”
THE TRUTH TO IT ALL: Immanuel was the birth given name, not Jesus nor any other name was given to him at birth. He was born on Nisan 1, the first day of Spring and the New Year. Joseph was his real Father, not his step-father.The birth given name was not the name above all names, the Father's name Yahweh is and the name that he inherited, the only name given for salvation and how he became Yahweh Messiah, the Father in the flesh. Pilate gave him over to the Jews to be killed so he died by Jewish Law, not by Roman Law. The Roman soldiers made sure the sentence was carried out. He did not carry a Cross, but a yoke after his beating. He died on a living Olive Tree on the Mount of Olives being hung from it with a rope around his wrists and the other two were hung from the same tree, the same way, no cross or crosses were used.
From his extensive research into Church councils, Dr Watson concluded that “the clergy at the Council of Nicaea were all under the power of the devil and the convention was composed of the lowest rabble and patronised the vilest abominations” (An Apology for Christianity, op. cit.). It was that infantile body of men who were responsible for the commencement of a new religion and the theological creation of Jesus Christ.
“After showing the pagan origin of the cross, The Encyclopædia Britannica, Vol. 7, of edition 11, page 506, says: ‘It was not till the time of Constantine that the cross was publicly used as the symbol of the Christian religion.’ That was but logical, for Emperor Constantine was a worshiper of the pagan sun-god, whose symbol was a cross. Other experts have pointed out that ‘before the fourth century the cross was not used as a Christian emblem in the East any more than in the West".
Christianity was started by Constantine in 313 or the Fourth Century. Immanuel did not die on Good Friday and did not rise on Easter Sunday, 36 hours later. He died on Passover on a Wednesday and was resurrected on the 7th day Sabbath on Saturday. Where do Christians get Good Friday from? Christ a sun deity name means Good. Constantine made sure that Passover and Easter did not fall on the same day and that Easter would always be on a Sunday, the day of pagan sun worship. Hesus Horus Krishna evolved into Jesus H. Christ in English. But in Latin it remains I.H.S. in the middle of Sol Invictus, the same “invincible Sun” worshiped from Nimrod to Constantine!
It's Christianity the Catholic Universal religion from Constantine. Catholics are taught that one day the world will be Catholic as in the denomination, untrue. During the Tribulation Period the Papacy will make Christianity the world religion and it will be without denominations the way Constantine originally started it and it will absorb all the other world religions and kill anyone that does not come over to it just like Constantine had done when he started it. There is only one group of people that will not, they are the Elect of Yahweh Messiah that believed the truth the first 3 1/2 years of the Papacy's 7 Year Peace Plan, they are the ones that will be persecuted and killed, this is the reason for the Mark of the Beast/ Papacy, to show who are the people that are the Christians Yahweh's Elect will not take the Mark. All those that take the Mark, which will be the Cross, Yahweh will kill and burn up at his return, there is no more salvation available to those people that do. They take the Mark to save their lives, but don't realize that they will lose it anyway.

One of the most moving accounts of the veneration of relics is that of the very body of Christ itself. Rather than leaving his body on the cross, to be taken down and disposed of by the Romans (as was the customary practice), Joseph of Arimathea courageously interceded with Pilate for Christ’s body (Mark 15:43, John 19:38). He donated his own, newly hewn tomb as Christ’s resting place (Matt. 27:60). Nicodemus came and donated over a hundred pounds of spices to wrap inside Jesus’ grave clothes (John 19:39), that amount of spices being used only for the most honored dead. And after he was buried, the women went to reverently visit the tomb (Matt. 28:1) and to further anoint Christ’s body with spices even though it had already been sealed inside the tomb (Mark 16:1, Luke 24:1). These acts of reverence were more than just the usual courtesy shown to the remains of the dead; they were special respect shown to the body of a most holy man-in this case, the holiest man who has ever lived, for he was God Incarnate.
Keep in mind what the Church says about relics. It doesn’t say there is some magical power in them. There is nothing in the relic itself, whether a bone of the apostle Peter or water from Lourdes, that has any curative ability. The Church just says that relics may be the occasion of God’s miracles, and in this the Church follows Scripture.
The use of the bones of Elisha brought a dead man to life: “So Elisha died, and they buried him. Now bands of Moabites used to invade the land in the spring of the year. And as a man was being buried, lo, a marauding band was seen and the man was cast into the grave of Elisha; and as soon as the man touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood on his feet” (2 Kgs. 13:20-21). This is an unequivocal biblical example of a miracle being performed by God through contact with the relics of a saint!
Similar are the cases of the woman cured of a hemorrhage by touching the hem of Christ’s cloak (Matt. 9:20-22) and the sick who were healed when St. Peter’s shadow passed over them (Acts 5:14-16). “And God did extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, so that handkerchiefs or aprons were carried away from his body to the sick, and diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them” (Acts 19:11-12).
If these aren’t examples of the use of relics, what are? In the case of Elisha, a Lazarus-like return from the dead was brought about through the prophet’s bones. In the New Testament cases, physical things (the cloak, the shadow, handkerchiefs and aprons) were used to effect cures. There is a perfect congruity between present-day Catholic practice and ancient practice.

That means a sticky mixture of myrrh and aloes. Jesus was taken from the cross and maybe he was also washed. Then the body, except the head, was promply wrapped/bound with (META) the spices between the bandages (OTHONION) according to the burial custom of Jews at that time. The head was covered with the head cloth (SOUDARION). Finally Jesus was carried to the nearby rock-tomb and was laid in there. The rock-tomb was closed with a stone and sealed. After Sabbath the women intended to anoint Jesus' head removing and readding the head cloth (SOUDARION) but ...

beverlyhurd8556 claims that Jesus was wrapped in something like the Shroud but she and other Shroud apostels/disciples cannot give any biblical evidence.
I have watched video simulations of the desired Shroud wrapping. They all did it without using the 32 kg spices (mixture of myrrh and aloe). But those spices were added for sure when wrapping the body with bandages (othonion) and finally they added the head cloth (soudarion). ONLY THEN they laid Jesus into the rock-tomb:
Joh 19,39 Nicodemus also, who earlier had come to Jesus by night, came bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds in weight [about 32 kg].
Joh 19,40 So they took the body of Jesus and bound [EDESAN] it in linen cloths [OTHONIOIS, plural] with [META] the spices [AROMATON; about 32 kg], as is the burial custom of the Jews.
Not any word in the gospels that there was a lack of time and that the head cloth was added on the cross and removed to wrap the body in something like the Shroud.
Not any word in the gospels that the women had to finish the "spicing". They intended to anoint Jesus and this is something completely different. Spices are added to suspress the smell of decay. Anointing is always done with oils/perfumes.
The Greek word for "spices" has different meanings and the context is decisive:
      Thayer's Greek Lexicon
      STRONGS NT 759: ἄρωμα
ἄρωμα, ἀρώματος, τό (from ἈΡΩ to prepare, whence ἀρτύω to season; (others connect it with the root ar (ἀρόω), to plow (cf. Genesis 27:27); others besides)), spice, perfume: Mark 16:1; Luke 23:56; Luke 24:1; John 19:40. (2 Kings 20:13; Esther 2:12; Song of Solomon 4:10, 16. (Hippocrates), Xenophon, Theophrastus, and subsequent writings.)

I have always been intrigued by the Shroud of Turin but this is the most concise and professionally produced video on the subject that I have seen. When I first read Barry’s story, I could be wrong about whether it was he who said this or another researcher he was quoting, but he said to him the shroud was like a love letter to us, the modern world, from our God.
No one earlier could have understood it the way we do today with modern technology. Before, it was faith that kept this physical proof of God’s love for us safe today.

I saw a video analyzing the objects captured in the image and it was fascinating. Apparently the crown of thorns also had leaves and berries that matched a bush from the correct area. It also shows the slight movement of the body as thought the light was emitting while the body started to move away from the cloth (upward and backwards toward a standing position). The carbon dating could’ve easily been incorrect because of the many repairs and contaminations and mainstream science (with a worldly agenda) do not want to prove this as authentic.

Just remembering it my whole body felt like i'm seeing His glory and so much Holy in Him that i'm in awe .....
I heard a knock in our front door and it authomatically open and there i know in my heart it was Jesus the Son of God. Because every step He made is glowing in honour... there's a full of light in our house. I automatically bend my knees because i can't see Him clearly because of so much light....ahh i can't describe how righteous He was at that moment..He touch my head and there...when i wake up i can't stop crying...it was like a face to face encounter....

John Ch 20:5-7 i believe refute the shroud of Turin's validity. In these verses we see that it describes cloths, meaning more than one cloth but not only that, the cloth that was wrapped around the body of Jesus was not wrapped around his head/face. We see in verse 7 that a seperate handkerchief or in other words a seperate cloth was wrapped around his head, and when i see the shroud of turin i dont see 2 seperate cloths, one for the head and one for the body, it is only one full cloth covering both head and body therefore in my opinion going against the truth of the Bible in those verses i just mentioned.

In very ancient times, many were the peoples that thought their sins or errors might cause their concept of god/gods to destroy their whole tribe/ family group/ culture unless they offered a “scapegoat” by sacrificing a living human to represent them all. (This was even true in MesoAmerica into the 15th and 16th century AD, for instance.) The word “baal” in semitic language used possibly by (semitic) Phoenicians and others in ancient times simply meant “lord.” But they offered sacrifices that were human too. This was well before the time of Christ. It is likely that human sacrifice was not unfamiliar to the ancestors of Abram/Abraham from Ur either: recall that God asked him to sacrifice his son, but then showed him to sacrifice a goat instead? (Where the word “scapegoat” came from.) After that time a goat, lamb or later a pure “perfect” lamb (after the lamb blood over the doorpost in Egyptian captivity) was used as the sacrifice in Israel.(Thus Jesus was called the “Lamb of God,” because he was sacrificed for all who would believe.
You need to study more before you try to teach or lecture others, as you are mixing Jupiter, a Roman god, with Baal, a semitic god, and also trying to throw in some misinterpretation of Revelation, a Christian writing, into that mix. Whoever your teacher might be, it would behoove her/him to know that Revelation will not be completely understood until the time of the end, for the whole of the book will not be revealed until then (as per Revelation itself.) . And anyone who tells you that it IS the time of the end, refuses to acknowledge that Christ said no one knows when the end will be except the Father, God. I hope I have helped to clarify some things such that you will study more about these things you have said. @@iva-ox2qn

There were flowers that showed up on the shroud that were flowers found in Jerusalem at that time so that shows it was in Jerusalem when the image was made. Pollens and dusts and residues showed the location was also correct. There were many things that even the most careful of forgers would not have thought of to add to the relic. When Jesus asked the Father in Gethsemane if it be possible take this cup from me he was not concerned about the physical torture many regular Christians have endured the same with joy. No the cup Jesus feared was our sins the actual guilt taken upon himself. This is profound. This understanding has challenged me to be humble and full of grace to all.
