@@DeanMceachen ahh thats your problem dean , your trying to hard mate . go back to basics mate , try a simple pulley rig around 3ft long unless its flat calm then go for a 5ft pulley single 3/0 hook and bait wise a single big rag worm or a single sand eel , cast that just over the first breaking wave good luck mate

Another cracking bass Tony well done. Did you snag up much? I fished further to the right more into the bay and I was snagging up and finding the tide was dragging me like mad.
thanks jamie , if you was fishing to the right of the slipway mate the tide pull is bad you have to use 7oz grippers and cast uptide let loads of line out , you probably know how to fish uptide mate dont take offence mate , even to the left of the structures you know what i mean jamie when it rips always cast uptide , you want to try it over high mate thats even more fun lol , good luck jamie and thanks
Hi Tony, I’m a young chap from Chippenham, I’ve gone charter fishing a few times this year but at £80 a pop it was getting a bit expensive so decided to buy a few beach casters from eBay and try my luck at shore fishing, I’ve been to 3 locations around Weston super-mare and just went to the MOD today during storm Darren (probably not the best idea) sadly I’ve drawn a blank 3 times and I’m starting to get a bit demoralised and I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong, loading the hook up wrong or something silly, I lost 4 lead weights today, going to try the beaches next as the tides in this week, just wondering if you’re due to do Weston Supermare again any time soon, I’m trying to buddy up with some more experienced fishermen’s to pick up some tips, as I could do with them, please let me know 🙂
hi mate , firstly dont give up chap, you have picked the wrong time of year to start beach fishing in a way. the M.O.D is not the place for you mate yet , i will be fishing the mod again in couple of weeks time and your more than welcome to join me i can show you where and how and what tides etc . for a minute try fishing brean sands , fish it 3 hours on the flood with lug worm on a pulley rig or whole squid on a pulley , dump it out there and keep walking back as long as you have enough line on your reels . you should be into a bass or congers and maybe a ray or two , if your willing to drive over to minehead area there is plenty of wicked marks around there to fish . fishing the bristol channel is hard at the moment mate but can be very rewarding , dont give up chap you just need a bit of guidence on where and when , places like the mod you need to know how it works there and how to fish it , good luck mate drop me a email i will send you my number all the best
@@SOMERSETBEACHFISHINGtony Hi bud, I tried sand bay beach today but blanked sadly 😕 got tomorrow off so could try Brean, I know what you mean with the time of year, I was fully kitted up but the cold and the wind was definitely getting me today, Sounds good to me 🙂 I’ve done charter fishing in minehead a few times with teddy boy, but takes me about 2 hours to get to minehead, but only just over an hour to get to Weston, otherwise I’d probably do Minehead more often as the water seems a bit clearer down there 🙂 can’t find you’re email bud :/ had a look on channel and saw the bait website, not sure if it’s that it?
