I am using BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 in my Forester. It works quite well in mud but this is already quite old "construction". Tires are heavy and very noisy on roads. With wet roads it do not cooperate well. Breaking distance is way longer and car do not want to turn. Now I would reconcider different tires for my car. Most probably I would chose Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 . This tire does not work in mud at all (tyre tread) but is really capable in any other terian - those my observation from other coleagues and my wife is using them in Suzuki Jimny. If you need something for mud you need to consider tires with some agressive tyre tread. Most probably MT tires. Remember that MT tires are more demanding for car power transmission. HaveFun
@@quasioffroad Thank you! I had Yoko Geolandar in two Foresters so far, this now is my second one, and I’m very happy about how well they tackle anything off-road, mud included. I wonder what you mean by saying that their tread is not capable of mud. Of course they are not KO, but we also have a city life to deal with and, as you say, KO are not good for paved roads (noise, consumption), but also rain. To overcome serious situations in mud, I purchased (but not needed to test yet) the so called TracGrabbers! They should be good in those few instances of deep mud WITHOUT having to resort to KO’s ... Best regards from Greece.
@@arcenciel2968 Regarding Yoko Geo in mud at least thats my observations and experience with this tires. They are very universal and in my opinion perfect for Forester which is very universal car. Thats my personal opninions and experience ;-) Cheers from Poland
@@quasioffroad Additionally, let me tell you that this is my 6th Subaru so far (600, M70, M80, Impreza, Forester SG1, and now Forester SG2). Which of the 6-7 Subis in your channel is yours? Strangely enough, I have never seen an Orange color Subaru Forester before! Must be only sold in Poland? Also, it is my impression that some of these cars that you show do not have mud tires at all, or so they seem. If that is the case, and if they still manage to follow you guys with the super tires, then we are spending way too much time on tires...haha.

Odpozdrawiam :-)
